A quick flash of TV static--his trademark intro effect--and the video player fades to a rather handsome young man, looking at the camera with a playful smile. “Hey Demons,” he addresses his fanbase with that affectionate nickname of his, “It’s your boy, Lio. Aaaaand, before I get started on the song, I wanted to address a... little thing that’s been going around,”
“So, I’ve been seeing rumors and theories and stuff all over Tumblr, Twitter and the like, about,” he chuckles, “Me seeing ‘a certain someone?’“ he says with a hint of amusement and surprise. He shrugs and laughs it off.
“Alright, alright, I don’t know where ya’ll got that idea,” he rolls his eyes, “And with the host of Realm 96.4? Some of you come up with the silliest things,” he scoffs at the ridiculous notion, a jovial smile decorating his face. He wrings his hands, looking into the camera intently, “Buuut, y’know, those of you who thought of that: What are you, stalkin’ me?”
He doesn’t seem to mind. “Well, whatever the case, I’ve still got a song to play for you. So...” he glances around. Was he looking for something? “Where the hell is my...” he mumbles.
A chipper voice comes from the side, “Here you go,” and a lithe pair of hands pass the singer a well-used guitar with comical speed.
Aurelio takes it with a grateful smile. “Thanks love,” there’s a giddy look in his smile, and a girl (that several viewers recognized as the host of a local radio station) leans in from the side of the frame to plant a tender kiss on his lips. She turns to the camera, giggly and smiling, and gives the audience a playful wave before leaving behind the camera.
Aurelio watches her go with bright eyes, and once she’s gone, he gives the audience a cheeky grin.
He winks, “So, here’s The Gray Witch,” and he plays his new song.
