he knows what that means, or at least, as much as anyone can with a force as unpredictable as the phoenix. it’s hard for him to see her struggle time and time again, knowing there’s not a damn thing he can do to help --not really at least. what good is a leader who can’t protect their own? it’s a painful reality that he cannot mend her sorrows, nor can he lift the burden that so tragically sits on her shoulders. it’s the optimist in him that shines through, his unwavering belief that jean grey can conquer any challenge no matter how great.   ❛  i’m not like you, jean, i know that. you’re ---larger than life and i’m just a guy. but i want you to know that no matter what, i’m here for you. and if there’s a way i can help, i’ll break any barrier to do it. you don’t have to do this alone.  ❜

        Quentin  never  usually  has  this  problem ,  but  if  his  kitchen  was  for  some  reason  not  functional  to  cook  in ,  he  would  either  order  food  for  delivery  or  eat  leftovers  /  something  that  doesn’t  require  cooking  (  e.g.  a  sandwich ,  cereal  ) .    When  Quentin  was  younger ,  he  had  to  make  most  of  his  meals  for  himself  at  home .    His  father  would  disappear  for  hours  at  a  time  and  usually  eat  out  somewhere  without  him ,  so  Quentin  has  gotten  pretty  creative  with  meals  he  can  make  for  himself .

        Quentin’s  bedroom  is  a  little  bit  messy ,  but  not  overbearingly  bad .    It  can  be  straightened  up  in  a  couple  of  minutes ,  but  he  just  usually  doesn’t  care  to .    A  lot  of  the  ‘ clutter ’  he  has  around  are  movie  and  musical  memorabilia :    his  most  prized  possession  is  the  camera  his  uncle  Vincent  gave him .    He  has  other  things  lying  around  as  well ,  such  as  scripts  he’s  purchased  from  various  sellers ,  playbills  he  has  yet  to  put  into  his  collector’s  album ,  and  movie  posters  he’s  bought  and  has  no  intention  of  hanging  up  ..  he  has  a  cork  board  that  he  pins  articles  about  Mysterio  on ,  and  it  is  located  next  to  a  full - body  mirror  that  is  leaning  against  his  wall .    His  actual  room  decor  is  somewhat  eclectic ,  but  he  tries  to  keep  a  minimalist  theme  for  furniture ,  bedsheets ,  curtains , etc .  in  order  to  extenuate  the  items  he  has  on  display .    This  can  be  said  for  the  rest  of  his  apartment  as  well ,  with  the  exception  of  his  largest  closet ,  which  he  has  emptied  out  and  turned  into  a  very  small  but  functioning  Mysterio  lab  of  sorts ,  where  he  works  on  his  suit  and  tech .    Because  of  this ,  a  lot  of  Quentin’s  clothes  are  kept  neatly  in  vacuum - seal  bags  under  his  bed .    He  hangs  his  fancier  clothes  up ,  though  ..  have  no  fear .

        Believe  it  or  not ,  Quentin  does  work  out  ..  kind  of .    When  he  was  actively  trying  to  go  into  acting ,  he  would  make  somewhat  frequent    (  yet  still  sporadic  )   trips  to  the  gym .    He’d  try  to  do  a  well - rounded  workout  whenever  he  did  go ,  but  he  usually  gave  up  before  he  completed  the  whole  thing .    Now ,  he  sometimes  goes  for  runs ,  and  occasionally  does  at - home  Zumba  workouts  ..  but  you  didn’t  hear  that  from  me .
