part of me is shaking in fear

what if anyone I know finds out what if they laugh what if they whisper to each other rolling their eyes how ridiculous I am being

I need to make sure I’m not writing for others for public for you as a performer because the more I think of who will read the more I lose myself ho would read the inside of my heart and soul who would read the true rambling going on in my head?

I ask what made me think I have to be something else when others are looking I have to take shapes to fit in, like the squares and circles in hands of a toddler

what made me this way yes whispered in me, handed me a manual which says the way you are cannot be seen hide it if you want to be an author, write in this style if you want to be an artist, draw like that what makes me not follow the whispers in me as soon as I know somebody else might be looking? what makes me doubt the words that long for being let out?
