dick gives the punching bag one last, good smack before turning back towards his towel and water bottle. he’s been in here for HOURS. going over and over bruce’s little rundown again and again in his head like a eulogy for all his failings. it was his fault. and what’s more was b was going to see it as some unavoidable failing from the titans when really it was just one titan, and their leader was the problem. he’d add it to the medley of points in dick’s ‘come back to gotham’ speech, and for all he’d done in his vigilante life or otherwise--- it just really stung knowing he was a disappointment. dick really wanted to be alone right now. or, more accurately, he wanted to BROOD alone right now. “ i’ve got to train, greg. ” he pushes his sweaty bangs from his forehead, head clearing up a little now that he’s stopped incessantly beating up his problems. “ maybe later. ”
