Yes, he was - he was abused by his football coach. (Interestingly, he was 14 at the time, just as we now know Henrik was when he was abused. There’s no way that’s deliberate, but it’s an odd little coincidence.) As it happens, I was rewatching that storyline recently. I found it way better done than the Henrik one has been, if I’m honest.

But no, Henrik wasn’t involved much, really. Up until Greg’s last episode, where they had some scenes together.

What particularly grabs my attention, in hindsight, is the scene from 00:30 of the above video to 2:24. I’ve been wanting to mention this scene for a while, so I’ll quickly discuss it now.

The context of that scene, for anyone who hasn’t seen the episode or hasn’t watched it in a while: Greg is helping a teenage girl who is being abused by her father, but the father makes a false complaint accusing him of being “inappropriate” with the girl, to make Greg look like the abuser instead.

And Henrik, who has no reason to believe the complaint is false at that point, confronts Greg about it in his office. And he doesn’t just seem angry or reprimanding, like you’d expect particularly from early Henrik, he seems uncomfortable. He’s avoiding direct eye contact, he’s fidgeting a lot, etc. It’s as though he’s, understandably, triggered.

Henrik also later has a scene where he confronts the real abuser, pretending to sympathise/to believe the false complaint and then gradually making it more and more clear it’s not Greg he’s talking about. His attitude in this scene is basically his usual “anger on the victim’s behalf, but it’s also obviously personal” reaction to abuse cases.
