This marvelous gown was first seen on Greer Garson in the 1941 film 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕, where she played the character Clare Woodruf.   The costume was reused again several years later in the 1946 film 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒍𝒖𝒎 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕, where Angela Lansbury wore it as Dusty Millard.   Who designed this awesome costume?
