Ash is the typical āman of actionā. Perhaps practical to a fault, sheās into doing, never thinking. Sheās very easily bored, and will do anything for fun. Going out for burgers at 3AM? Sure. Road trip tomorrow? I thought youād never ask. Robbing a bank? Why not? She can be ready to sleep, already in her pajamas and if you ask her to go somewhere, sheās in. Ash was born in Hungary. Her parents were long time friends who hooked up a single time, just a few days before her father moved to the U.S, something heād always planned on doing. Ashās mother decided not to tell him, not wanting the man to feel obligated to move back to Hungary.
So Ash was raised only by her mother, Novak Zsofia, a successful hungarian architect. Her childhood was spent in a nice big penthouse in Budapest, and she and her mother got along wonderfully.
That only made it harder when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Ash was thirteen, and only then did her father become aware of her existence, after ZsĆ³fia called him, begging the man to take their child in should she pass away.
Ash moved to America to live with her father at fourteen. The transition was anything but smooth. Her English wasnāt very good at all, and she was terribly self-conscious of it, which resulted in her first months after moving being spent almost entirely in silence, save for the awkward conversations she had with her father. To make matters worse, she was soon diagnosed with ADHD, and later with dyslexia as well, two conditions that made her school life all the more complicated.
Films offered her solace, a chance for her to escape from the terrible loneliness she felt. They also helped her improve her English, and slowly build up confidence to talk to others. She soon fell in love with the art and decided than one day sheād be involved with movies of her own.
Fast forward to present day. Keeping true to her promise, Ash has just graduated film school, and is currently working as a videographer. She mostly films and edits wedding videos or other events, though sheās set on her goal to become a film editor.

Julian Clark grew up in a wealthy family on the Upper East Side. His father was an investment banker and his mom was a famous fashion designer. Though his parents provided the funds, his true raising was done by their nanny and housekeeper called Dee. Though Julian didnāt know why, he never really liked Deeās company. She was very nice and patient with him, but he never felt right. There were times when his mother was away that he noticed Dee wasnāt sleeping in her room, but in his parentās room instead. Although it was never confirmed, Julian believes that this caused him to be a wild child and rebellious from day one. He loved climbing, digging through expensive things he often wasnāt careful enough with, and hiding for long periods of time in order to get Dee in trouble.
At 8 years old, his father died of a stress-induced heart attack. Being young, Julian didnāt understand the depth of the situation nor the affair, but his father left everything but a trust fund to Dee. His mother was livid. She had no idea of the affair and felt a deep betrayal by not only Julianās father but also Julian. She felt that she could no longer look at her son because of the mistakes of his father. Julian was sent to boarding school and only called home when he was in troubleā¦which was a lot.
After losing his father, he developed a fear of loss. One that often caused a deep anxiety. Julian would spend days at a time in his room at school, not speaking with anyone. He was afraid to face the world. And though he was always very social, Julian never found many friends at boarding school. He didnāt feel he could relate to the other students, therefore no one except the teachers would even notice he was missing.
On Julianās 16th birthday, he hadnāt received a phone call from his mother. He was worried that something terrible had happened at home. He called his mother several times trying to get ahold of her to ensure that he was just overthinking, but she never answered. He took the next bus home, both his mind and heart racing. When he arrived, he found his mother with a new husband and new kids. If it wasnāt clear he was no longer welcome, it was now. He told his mother he didnāt want to see her again and went through the emancipation process.
For a while, Julian was couch surfing, but eventually, it got old. He got his GED, got a job, and began to work himself up. Though Julian came from wealth, he never felt scared of being broke. There was a sense of freedom that came with the lack of money. A lack of expectation. He enjoyed it, but he chose not to share it with most, knowing that it sounded privileged.
At 25, almost ten years later, he feels comfortable. Julian has never felt the need to go to college or get a degree. He is a barista by day and a street performer by night. Living in The Village, he feels that he is far enough away from his past life, but close enough to remember why he left. Huxley grew up on a horse and cattle ranch on the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Boulder, Colorado. He loved it, but wanted more out of life then just herding cows and other livestock. So, at 18, he left home and joined the Marines and served for ten long years, before moving to New York City and becoming a police officer, and later on a Homicide Detective.
Although he considered New York City his home now, Huxley made sure to take frequent yearly trips back to Boulder during the spring and fall, when the ranch was at itās most busiest. Sure, he had tons of uncles and younger cousins, as well as a younger brother, to help out, but as the oldest he felt it was partly his duty to give a helping hand when it was needed. His father was the eldest of 8 brothers, who all lived in or around Boulder, so running the Alexander ranch was quite the family affair.
When he got stationed temporarily in Seattle, he met a beautiful young woman named Lilian Berens. They hit it off immediately and it quickly blossomed into a serious relationship. Just two years later, they were married. He had just turned the age of 27. Now a happily married man and living permanently in New York City and working as a police officer, huxley was ambitious and he knew that eventually, he wanted to become a homicide detective, so he put all he could into making that dream a reality. Within just a few short years of doing field cases after field cases, he was finally promoted.
While everything at his workplace was going well, his relationship with Lilian was souring. After the birth of their second daughter, Juliette, things between them grew ever tenser. Huxley couldnāt explain the sudden change, didnāt know what the cause was, and it was quite disheartening. He loved Lilian, and was a devoted husband to her, even with a job that was as demanding as the one he had. For some reason it just seemed like he could not make his wife happy, no matter what gestures he tried. Lilian was always starting fights, and refused to let him get a last word in or defend himself. She would claim that it was because he was āmore invested in his work then her or the kidsā, which he knew was complete bullshit. He loved his family more than anything else, even his work, and he knew that heād choose them a hundred times over, over his career. At least, it was that way with his kids. After Lilian got pregnant with Annie (she was a surprise to both of her parents), Huxley really tried his best to repair the rift that had formed between them, but Lilian wasnāt having any of it. She had threatened leaving many times, but it was clear to Huxley that she meant it this time.
It was no surprise to him, then, that the moment Annie was born, Lilian filed for divorce and skipped town. She didnāt take any of the girls, leaving them in Huxleyās custody. He had no idea where she was, but he did hope that she was okay. He was more heartbroken for the girls' sake then his own, as he had seen Lilian's decision to split coming ever since she found out about being pregnant with Annie. What he hadn't (although he should have) seen, was Lilian leaving the girls behind. He supposed he couldn't look a gifted horse in the mouth - after all, that had been his biggest fear; that she would leave and take his daughters with her. At this point, he felt that he was far more capable of looking out for them than she was. Huxley was convinced that there was something fundamentally (and certainly mentally) wrong with Lilian. She had become rather mentally unstable, and unpredictable, and he had been scared to leave her unattended with Alyssa and Juliette for long periods. That was why he had hired a daytime nanny, for when he was on duty. He'd told Lilian it was to help her out, but in truth, he just did not trust her alone with their kids.
Outside of the PD and being a hands-on dad, Huxley was a talented and passionate musician. It wasn't his full time job, but when he had down time at work and when he had time on the weekends, he would jam out with his band. He is part of a well known rock and country band called āWindless Soulsā, as the lead singer. To make things worse he had an affair with a married man called Garrett MacDiarmada four years ago that went on for an entire year. She cares more for her plants and all animals, then she does about people. Caireannās never really gotten on well with other individuals. Sheās got little patience for their whining and complaining and really, their problems. However, if you are lucky enough to win her over, sheāll be there for you in a heartbeat. Still a snarky little thing, but there nonetheless.
Caireann is snarky - but she doesnāt necessarily mean to be mean about it. Itās just part of her personality. If you tell her to back off when sheās being unpleasant, sheāll usually try and reign it in.
Her indifference to other peopleās problems makes her seem like a cold-ass bitch. She doesnāt care if your bf/gf/significant other is cheating on you, or if your relative just died, or that you may have just lost your job. Sheās got her own shit to deal with, thanks.
Her sensitive side comes into play when animals are brought up. She loves animals, and refuses to see or hear of any harm coming to them. Hence why sheās been a vegan for sixteen years. Even as a child, she hated animal cruelty.

Her studio appartment looks like a freaking greenhouse - no joke. Itās full of plants of all shapes and sizes. Succulents, philodendrons, herbs, etc. Most of them are indoor plants, seeing as the apartment doesāt bring in much sunlight. On her fire escape, itās a full-on garden in the spring and summer months. She growns her own herbs, succulents and several fruits and veggies all year-round by way of grow-lights.
Her walls, the spaces that are plant-free, she decorates with her own embroidery pieces, which sheās framed. Theyāre mostly of flowers and nice little sayings like āLive, Laugh, Loveā or āDo No Harm, But Take No Shitā.
Sheās very clean, almost to the point of being OCD. Although she has lots of plants in her apartment, itās still arranged tastefully, and is well-kept.
Caireann is in her last year of university, where she is pursuing degrees in Botany and Horticulture. They are two different career-paths, but sheās studying both, as she wants to incorporate both science and landscaping into her future career. After university, she wants to open a shop where she can sell plants, spices and her own oils and organic body products.
She has no social skills whatsoever. She avoids people when she can, and when she canāt, sheās not exactly the most friendly or inviting. The vibe she gives off is āDonāt Fucking Bother Meā. She intentionally (and unintentionally, sometimes) alientates others by her unpleasant attitude.
She alientates people by being so standoffish, uncairing and closed off. They label her a stuck-up, or a self-centered bitch and though sheās neither truly stuck up or self-involved, she usually just shrugs it off. She knew her flaws, and wasnāt looking to change anytime soon. Caireann hates others getting too friendly, or too nosy in her business, anyways. She can be nice, and thoughtful, but thatās only when youāve won her over. She cares literally for only two people in her life, and they are her brothers Seamus and Shane.
Caireann also alientates people due to her odd nature. She has quirks that others might deem strange - like her obsession with plants, and veganism. Sheās more hippy than even she realizes.

She was born and raised in Galway, Ireland. When she was two, her parents got a divorce after her mother caught her father having an affair with her Aunt Eloisa (Inglaās identical twin sister). Her father packed up his things right after the divorce was settled, and along with Aunt Eloisa, moved to New York City, where he continued his dream of being a Broadway play writer. Shortly after, he and Eloisa got married. It was like Seamus, Shane and Caireann didnāt even exist to him anymore after that, as he never, not once, called or visited to check up on his children. No birthday or holiday gifts or cards, nothing.
Life with her brothers and mother in Galway was alright. They got by well enough. Ingla was a biomedical engineer and got paid a fair bit of money for her work in developing new medical devices and equipment. Caireann admired her motherās work ethics and her ability to juggle single parenthood and a full career. Especially since she knew that her brothers (and herself, though sheād never admit it) were quite the handful.
When Caireann was fifteen, her mother died in a horrific accident - sheād struggled with epilepsy her whole life, and she ended up having a seizure while bathing, which resulted in her drowning. Caireann had been at school at the time, and her brothers away in college, so there had been nobody around to help her.
Her death left the MacDiarmada kids devastated. Particularly Caireann, who was quite close with her mother.
In the wake of Inglaās death, Caireann was sent to New York City, to live with her father and his wife (her aunt). Seamus and Shane followed shortly after, not wanting the three of them completely split between continents.
To say that she had been livid in having to breathe the same air as her father and step-mother again, was an understatement. Caireann didnāt say a single word to either Garrett or Eloisa for months after moving in, and when she finally did speak, it was with short and snappish relies that dripped in derision and not an ounce of respect. She hated them for fucking her poor mother, and her and her brothers, over. The only thing she could be thankful for was that the two of them never had any children together. She hadnāt been sure if she could have handled living with half-siblings that were also her half-cousins, on top of everything else.
Graduating high school at seventeen, Caireann immediately packed up and left for university and to start her new life on her own. She honestly couldnāt have left her fatherās home quick enough. Moving into the Village was giving her the freedome and the room to finally breathe, which she so clearly needed. She no longer had to grit her teeth together everytime she was spoken too, which in the end, helped with her stress level. After nearly four years, she has yet to return āhomeā. She instead spends holidays and breaks with her beloved brothers.
