Holland met Kell's eyes over the glass, and beyond the words and the bravado, he saw something else in the man's gaze. Mercy. Kell's chest ached with relief as he said, 'Thank you.' 'For what?' said Holland coldly. 'I'm not doing this for you.'... Holland was proving horrible company. Kell had tried to keep the conversation alive, ut it was like stoking coals after a bucket of water had been poured on them, nothing but fragile whisps of smoke... It was strange, fighting beside Kell instead of against him, the resonance of their styles, so different but somehow in sync - unnerving. 'You've gotten better,' he observed.
These are such great examples of this thing I mentioned where Kell and Holland understand each other really well when theyâre either talking around things or not talking at all, even if they can barely carry on a conversation.

Owning your enemy by scrambling his stupid Skywalker brain and then snarking on your way out the door, leaving only a giant robe blowing in the breeze. Obi-Wan was probably bawling and cheering and throwing roses at Luke from the great beyond, because that right there is a death Obi-Wan himself couldnât have done better. đ
