🙏🙏Her Excellency Cécile Malterre🙏🙏🇰🇭

Ambassador of Peace based in Phnom Penh officially and closely linked to the United Nations, has a real Khmer artistic sensitivity.

She is also a writer, and actively participates in the current reconstruction of her homeland Cambodia, since her return from Europe in 2000, at the age of 33.

Indeed, born at Calmette hospital in Phnom Penh in 1965, of Cambodian parents, unconditional in love with her native country.

The builders of Angkor temples, imbued with deep values of integrity, dignity, inhabited by the Khmer culture, educated and trained with respect for Cambodian traditions by Her Royal Highness, Princess Norodom Norléak, Cécile Veasna is naturally linked to members of the Cambodian royal family. Her way of thinking is also very international because of her education in Europe, between Paris and London, where she had the chance to grow and receive a lot of Love, allows her to be a bridge between countries.

We were very happy to receive her in our natural domain, at the Rokkhak River Resort, during her visit to Siem Reap, city of all temples where she stayed for a couple of days in order to rest from a hectic Phnom Penh life. She is the elite founder of "Building the future generations of Cambodia, Construire les Générations Futures du Cambodge" in french langage (CGF Foundation) who has the mission to deliver the thoughtful and basic education to the young Cambodian generation to develop the country with its endless opportunity and strength.

Cécile Veasna Malterre stayed alone in our quiet resort in Siem Reap, spent some time to connect again and medidate in Angkor Temples and pay respect to the divinities.

Rokkhak River Resort is an eco-friendly resort that stretched location to the sacred sites.

Cécile Veasna Malterre expressed very deeply her satisfaction for the quality services of Rokkhak River Resort with its warm welcoming and very courtesy, revealing the Cambodian hospitality with genuine smiles to her all the time while she was staying here, enjoying the quiet atmosphere, our nice garden and the beautiful landscape where the jungle-alike accommodation and the people here.

Meanwhile being here, Cécile Veasna Malterre was inspired to buy a few paintings from Khmer artists because she wants to encourage and promote them to enlighten the Khmer heritage and culture.

She also showcased those inspiring paintings at the balcony of her room where she loved the most and presented a little meaning story to the receptionist.
