Happy Valentine’s Day to my favourite ships!

Unfortunatelly, I wasn’t able to complete one of the portraits on time, but I’ll do that when I return from my trip to the UK, I promise!

The adventure was set, and the goal was in mind. Find the book, find the spell and help beast boy get back home. She didn’t like it though. She didn’t know why, but she knew that he needed to go home. He didn’t belong here, but the idea made her upset. 

Maybe it was because she didn’t want to lose a friend? Maybe but then why did she feel so weird around him? Hear heart would race her face got all red, she didn’t understand it and she didn’t like it! The hunter looked at the changeling.

 “So, you’re friends back home are probably gonna find you before we get the book, but we can still keep looking if you want.” She shrugged hardly looking as she glanced around not really trying to find the book.

 “Have you ever thought of maybe trying to be a bounty hunter?” She asked calmly. “With your power thing I’m sure you could take a demons head clean off and still be able to sell it!” She smiled happily at him. 

Audrey wasn’t quite sure how it happened, but she found herself completely alone this Saturday. Her parents were on a date, Joey had a cold, Chloe was showing signs of catching said cold, Aiden, Dylan, and Adelyn were visiting their grandmother, and Gia was too swamped with homework to hang out. It figured this would be on a day she was done with homework and chores and had nothing else to do. She supposed she may as well embrace that she’d be alone today. Peace and quiet could be nice sometimes. Grabbing her backpack, water bottle, trail mix, and the like, Audrey headed for a wooded area to walk around and take in the beauty of nature. After a bit of walking, she stopped to rest, sitting on a towel as she sipped her water. Believing herself to be alone and feeling quite content, she started to sing to herself.

“Open up your eyes Take a look at me Get the picture fixed In your memory I'm driven by the rhythm Like the beat of a heart And I won't stop until I start To stand out" The farther she got into the song, the louder and more passionate she became. She was actually a decent singer, when she wasn’t nervous. Especially when the sing was from an animated film.

The land of dreams and hope and whatnot.

Also. The land of English. Something Chiaki was less than fluent in. 

Ah, of course. Of course he had to be sent here. Of course there weren’t any proper facilities in Tokyo. Just his luck. It was strange, wasn’t it? Shouldn’t there be enough super powered people in Japan too? 

Either way... Here he was, and he had no idea what he was going to do with himself. Sure, he... Had a power. So he should team up with other kids and befriend them and maybe work together with them. Which sounded great! Wonderful! If there was something he always had wanted to do, it was to fight evil in the name of love and justice!

But here he was. Standing in front of a large high rise building and he wasn’t even sure which door to knock on. Ring the bell? Whatever he was supposed to be doing. He glanced down on his notepad and tried to make sense of the message. 

Okay, it had to be said; he was better at speaking English than reading it, that much was for certain. Because the instructions here? They were completely lost on him. 

It wasn’t like him being nervous was anything new, but, Wildfire definitely was nervous right now. For one, there were the stories that Starfire had told him. Stories of the adventures that she had experienced together with her friends, the tales of basically saving the Earth at least a few times, all these fights and difficult situations that they overcame as a group. They were impressive, and the idea to meet them on such a casual level (or at all, really) was just... a lot, for Wildfire. Of course, Starfire would say that they would happily welcome him, and that there was absolutely no need to worry about not being good enough. Which was nice to say, but it didn’t help how he felt about it. And then, which was probably even worse, there was the impersonation. Another story that Starfire told him, but not one that only told of a villain he only knew by name and how the team managed to best them eventually - instead, this involved him too, with surprisingly much accuracy and without him ever having known of it beforehand. From what Wildfire remembered of it, a shape-shifting woman had pretended to be him, and had through that managed to be invited into the Tower and have every opportunity - and almost succeed, too - to take out the team. It was a horrible thing to imagine, and Wildfire prayed that he would never encounter such a eerie-sounding villain, but it also meant that they connected his face to a bad experience. All in all, he was very very nervous to come over to the Tower while the team was there. So far, he had met Starfire when she was by herself, and to know that today was supposed when he met the rest of them... well. It was better than to be surprised by it without Starfire telling him beforehand, but he still felt very uncertain about it.

Which was why he still had his cloak wrapped tightly around himself as he walked into the living room. Ouh, why had Starfire insisted that he did the introductions by himself? Surely she could have done this much better! There was no use in hesitation now though, he was already here, and he totally believed his sister would just rush into the room to push him over if he wasn’t doing it without the ‘encouragement’. Thankfully (and maybe planned so by Starfire), there was only one of the team in the room, and Wildfire now finally approached.

🌟 - Who was your very first rp muse? 

Answered just two asks earlier, but again, that’d be Starfire if I don’t count the little things beforehand!

Outside of that, earlier there had been Princess Peach too, and Misty from Pokemon, and a good bunch of OCs where,

lemme just mention Lightning since I’ll never bring her out anywhere, even if she isn’t really anything like a first muse or anything - basically a genderbended version of Kid Flash, though more worked into an OC. She still has a similar-enough look and the same ability (= speed, duh) though, and I feel like I know absolutely not enough about speedsters and all that stuff, and I also feel like her basic concept (’genderbended kid flash’) was like too stupid, to ever bring her out anywhere again.

⌛ - How long have you been rping? 

That depends on if I count the earlier things too or not.

I don’t remember how long ago those guestbook-thingies were that I did, that’d probably already be like idk 15 years or so ago, but I really don’t know if I should count those.

Then there was the RPing with my one (and only) online-friend, that started like 10 years ago. It wasn’t actually ‘out in public’, though, just a thing between us two, so again I’m not sure if it counts.

As for RPing on here, within an actual RPC? It’s been pretty much exactly 5 years now!

💝 - Who are some rpers you look up to? 

I always feel obliged to mention the one blog that basically brought me into here (though they won’t know, we never were mutuals or anything and never talked or anything outside of me sending some anons), a Kid Flash, here. (And please if you read this and do know them, don’t tell them about this, I absolutely don’t need to be known/seen/recognized by them, I’m fine just silently following their blog and the cool art they do)

Then, well, “looking up to” feels like a pretty big thing, and kinda like it shouldn’t include those that I actually am writing with? Which, doesn’t really leave much, so let me instead just name a few of my interaction partners that I really love.

You, for example! Then nvertoolate, skymade and all her blogs, merveiilles, flashgotthis - okay that’s enough making me all nervous for today.

🎥 - What’s your favorite tv show/movie? 

Again answered this two asks before this one, but to mention something else, hm.

I like RWBY! I currently watch a thing called ‘The Gifted’, which is pretty interesting, too. The Mandalorian is pretty cool too, and the various Star Trek things that exist.

🎼 - What’s your favorite song? 

At the moment, this very strongly is Purge the Poison from Marina!

I’ve carried the idea for a while that all the stuff going on these days is just Earth’s way to fight against the virus humanity that’s killing it more and more, and this song just captures that thought so well and I just really dig it. It also reminds me of Poison Ivy where I still miss a RPer from idk years ago or so so that’s a bonus too.

🎶 - Who’s your favorite singer/band/music producer? 

My usual answer to this is MIKA! I dig a lot of his songs, a lot, and they’re just fun and cheerful and great and yeah!

Some other names would be A Great Big World, The Script, and well given my current fav song probably Marina too!

🎮 - What’s your favorite video game? 

I’m like so excited for the new Pokemon Snap! I loved that game back then, and I really hope the new one is a similarly great experience.

Outside of that, Mario Kart, the Pokemon Stadiums back on the N64 were great too with all these minigames. Kirby! Yeah that’s about it for what I can think of right away!
