((Meet my Divergent AU Bill Cipher. He more or less follows canon to a point, the moment Stan hit him in the finale he was heard to he saying something backwards, which I believe was a spell that saved him and punted him back in time where he ended up meeting Stan and Ford as kids. This time he’s playing differently, all he wanted was freedom from the world he was trying to escape from, and now he has it and is learning about the human world first hand!))

While Otto certainly wasn’t the most perceptive of the team ( unless it came to machines, which to him made i n f i n i t e l y more sense than anything else ), some things were pretty difficult to miss.
Like the fact that he was not looking at a mirror, and therefore should not have been looking directly at a reflection of himself. Evidently, the correct response to this is to shriek at the other figure and hope it’s just a trick of the eyes, and not something nefarious that the Skeleton King came up with...
