I recently tried through Super Dude Shooter, and WOW!! After so many different attempts, finally someone did a platformer in doom that handles really well? Great job!! Any desire to go back to it and expand on it, maybe make something Megaman-styled with it? :)

Super Dude-Shooter has always kind of been in the back of my mind, it’s something I would really like to expand on without a looming gamejam time limit. The question is really thinking of something to actually make with it.
In the meantime, if you’d like to play more with it, @greenlegacy has taken the system and expanded on it dramatically to create his own game, Operation Echo.

A 2D run-and-gun platformer inspired by Metal Slug and Megaman, play as a robot in 21XX fighting off aliens. Features the usual platforming trappings, such as multiple weapons, character assists, platforming, dashing, multi-directional aiming, and more, making it all the more amazing that it’s done on GZDoom.
Back in few years, i made some sprites for Woolie Wool for his ECWolf project from Zdoom forum. Including this mecha-beast. I somehow liked the design but never managed to remake him. Until now! I tried to follow my awesome fellow artist @greenlegacy ‘s style since he used the sprite for his Doom mod project, Black Warrior and i really love his artworks.
The Development is going swimmingly well. As soon as the animation is finished, we'll start improving the menu first, and then other features, to one by one.

Development of Operation Echo.
Hello, everyone! I would like to share the news of Operation Echo last year.
Before straightly working on the actual project, we decided to finish the storyline. Sadly, we weren't fully-experienced with the story writing and wasted time that is 4 months.
It taught us a lesson and hired the scenario writer to work on the storyline.
After that, we also lacked the development part. So we planned it for 3 months and started to work on both the scenario and concept art since the last November.
Here are the concept art we've been working on so far!
We apologize for not keeping the promise of uploading development status here in this thread often.
We will finish the concept art before April and will get back into development, and going to release the demo within this year. Before that, we will periodically post the development status.
