It’s Elvis week now, so a Monday spent downtown working a late Elvis show, Class of ‘56 - Million Dollar Quartet. Quick stop into @belle_tavern for a drink and once ready to go, grabbed an incredible sandwich from the Green Beetle. Per a suggestion, tried Smooth Ambler Contradiction. A blend of two bourbons, a Wheated and a rye. Smooth with a hint of sweet and a spicy finish. Nice sipper. The sandwich was amazing and the combination of flavors - fried chicken dipped in hot honey gold sauce topped with melty pimento cheese and pickles.
