Why does it feel like we’re always constantly alone?

I don’t really know… fate?

Nah, not fate.

Then what?

“What do I wanna do most? Anything? As in ANYTHING, anything?” Raleigh wondered if Nebula knew exactly what she was offering. There were a lot of things he missed doing, especially on Terra, but one reigned supreme in his mind. “I miss this  place I used to go to with my brothers when he and I were teenagers...” Of course it was a place they went to when they were primarily drunk..but Nebula didn’t have to know that detail. 

“Taco Bell..Have you heard of it?” 

 “I’m sorry...” Peter whispered quietly. “But I can’t.” The sandy haired half Terran looked away, his eyes focused on something far off in the distance, past the nebula their ship was floating past. He knew he had promised her but he couldn’t. This was wrong. All of this was wrong and what she was asking him was something he couldn’t nor wouldn’t do.

 “I’ve lost too much.” He finally murmured. “And I don’t give a damn if I’m being selfish here, man, but I’m not gonna lose you too.” Quill’s blue eyes shifted, sharpening and molding into something determined once he looked back at her. She was by far the most beautiful he had ever met. He’d die before ever letting Thanos touch her.

Oh how wrong he was...

Thor stared out at the vast space in front of him. Now that everything was done, the prince or king, whatever he was, had decided to gather all survivors once more and bring them to a place they could hopefully call home and find peace in Terra. If there was such a thing as peace. But yet, he was not the only one who had lost a lot. Only for him, for him it seemed permanent.

He watched as she turned around and crossed her arms. His head tilted to one side as he listened to her. Scared. It was the right word but also almost not enough of one. He gave her a soft smile and carefully stepped closer to her, his hands reaching out to gently grab her shoulders.
