Gotchya!!!!

Time and time again you get asked, "who's your favorite Greature?" and you've never been able to answer with a single motion.

With these GREATURES SHIRTS™️, now you can just say nothing and point! What a concept!

It's an indie RPG video game. For some reason I want to say it has a top-down view like Undertale but I have literally never seen gameplay of it so I really don't know where I got that idea from. It might have elements of a visual novel as well.

The player character and protagonist is Saffron (like the spice) and is a pirate version of Snufkin from Moomin Valley. Or perhaps Clancy from The Midnight Gospel

Saffron is trapped in some sort of timeloop where they (I have no idea what Saffron's gender is and so will be using neutral "they/them" pronouns) keep having to relive the same events over and over again. Saffron inflicted this timeloop on themselves by wishing for something or another.

Saffron is guided on their journey by Loop, who fills a narrative role similar to the G-Man from Half Life, being kind of a hyperpowerful outside-of-time entity. I originally thought that Loop was some kind of anthro dandelion wearing a latex bodysuit, but now I'm pretty sure their head is a stylized star and their body having kind of a "night sky / cosmos" pattern. Loop is actually a time-travelling Saffron from a bad future where they never escaped the timeloop, and the repeated time dilation mutated and distorted them into this horrible cosmic entity. Loop has gone back in time to help Saffron break out of the loop to prevent this bad future from happening. (Like Captain Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager)
