Future Paradox Shiny Propaganda:
Iron Thorn = Mecha-Godzilla
Iron Jugulis has multiple non-gray scale colors
Iron Hands = Tera Raid Destroyer (but thatâs more combat ability than appearance)
Iron Moth actually feels like it has a decent balance between chromed out parts and non-chrome parts
Iron Valiant = Pink NB Knight from the future. Had an important job to do in the past, so couldnât take the time to run through the paint sprayer before time traveling.

I also find it incredibly ironic that people immediately believe Mercedes when they say Max of all people is saying different things in private than to the media. Max, someone well known for being (sometimes too) brutally honest and always just speaking his mind, even if he knows people won't agree with him. Who told global company Netflix to fuck off for creating a false narrative while other drivers also complained but continued the collaboration. And then Mercedes, a team that seems to be playing mind quite often (sandbagging, "my tires are gone", "Red Bull has the fastest car" season 2019-20).
I hardly believe Max would be agreeing with Mercedes in private because he doesn't want to upset Mr. Toto Wolffđ„șđ„ș
Not like I would not believe a word from toto's mouth anyway đ€·đ»ââïž
When you look at RD as a whole, the character/couples arcs this episode makes so much sense
- Varchie was never meant to last because Archie was Vâs closest ties to the small town. It was proven that she was happy and thriving in Wall Street, if only Chad was less controlling I bet that she would never return to Archie. She saw her future in New York and she needs someone who can match her energy without dulling her shine, which is Reggie.
- Archie was always meant to stay in Riverdale. He never saw his life anywhere else and the town is depending on him. Itâs been established that his loyalties lie to Riverdale above all else. He wouldnât be happy in New York the same way Ronnie wouldnât be content in Riverdale.
- Archie and Betty went through so much as individuals and with their shared trauma and experiences, they could help each other heal. Theyâre the only two in the core four who experienced the loss of their loved ones and has PTSD. I think that Barchieâs arc can focus on healing - both the town (as a tribute to those they loved and lost) and themselves.
- Since the first episode itâs been established that Popâs has been Jugheadâs true home. We see that over the seasons when the diner has been one of the most important places in his life and everything associated with it screams home and comfort to him. Now heâs running it with this amazing girl who cared about him when he was at his lowest, saw him at his worst, and still loved him through it all.
Betty and Jughead were alright as a high school couple but this season proved that theyâre completely different people now. We saw during a previous episode that in his inebriated state, Juggie saw the high school version of Betty apologising to him - not the current Betty Cooper. He was in love with the idea of her for 7 years and finally truly moved on after he got the closure he needed in the bunker. That wasnât a Bughead reunion, it was them officially closing that chapter of their lives before they finally moved on for good. After that, he finally let himself fall completely in love with Tabitha.
They really do! I loved this season.
Veronica wouldn't have called herself the She Wolf of Wallstreet like 80 times if she didn't believe it and take pride in that title. Her work and her ambition are obviously super important to her, and it seems based off 5x18 that Reggie has the same goals as her. She said his idea of the future sounded like heaven.
Archie is Riverdale. Especially with the loss of his father, he wants to be just like him. Riverdale was always his home.
It's interesting isn't it that Barchie was ended earlier this season because they were apparently too different (but this is said without them ever actually being together or exploring life together), yet we see that be the reason Veronica ends up leaving Archie. I'm pretty curious to see what Betty and Archie as adults could look like in an actual relationship.
Exactly. Pop's is Jughead's safe haven. Tabitha is the embodiment of that. Tabitha being there for Jughead instead of giving up on him or abandoning him at the lowest point in life has allowed Jughead to regain his self worth. Tabitha's love for Jughead and Jughead's love for her has been the best thing about this season. This is what a mature relationship looks like. They are just so perfect.
Betty and Jughead worked in highschool, but they don't work any more. They are in completely different places and want different things. The drug trip hallucination highlighted the disconnect between who Jughead wanted Betty to be and who she actually is. Jughead tried to hold on to who Betty was to the point of hallucinating her saving him when in reality she said he wasn't her problem.
I am here for the direction the show is going, it's actually so exciting. These are the shakeups I was waiting the entire time jump to see explored, I'm glad we're finally doing it.
Is there a more on-the-nose metaphor for the status quo shakeup then literally blowing up Pop's?

As a woc, personally I donât rlly mind when people donât care about/donât like Ava. Sometimes, for no reason at all, one character interests you while another doesnât. You canât rlly control it, it happens, I get it! She can be a little harsh sometimes, and some ppl just arenât attracted to that type of character. Iâm moreso very leery of people who absolutely hate Ava, because even though sheâs flawed, sheâs not some evil, horrible person. Thatâs when my alarm bells start ringing, not when someoneâs like, âAvaâs not really a character I care abt,â ya know?
thoughts?
Yeah I agree with you. If you donât care about a character you just donât. I have my fair share of characters who I donât care about despite being my âtypeâ you know? It happens. My post was more for people who absolutely hate her and attack her, but defend and apologize for white characters whoâve done worse. I donât know, I feel like at that point is less about the character and your preferences and more about internalized bias.
"You'd be lying if you said that you didn't care about wanting to headline WrestleMania. That's the pinnacle. Guys have lost their minds about being in that spot over the years. This is all you've ever dreamed of in your entire life and everything you ever wanted to do and you've dedicated yourself to it. All you want is to headline WrestleMania and to be the main event. Those women are no different. Charlotte, obviously, has the history. Becky has been at it for 15 years now. There is so much passion and hard work and love for the industry in that Triple Threat match. Those girls are in that spot not just by themselves, but years and years of women being marginalized in our industry and having to push through and fight through things. I'll never know what that experience is like. They're getting to represent future generations and past generations of females who are capable, amazing and talented. They finally get to showcase that to the entire world. I'm super proud of all three of those girls and I'm really looking forward to sitting back with the Universal title on my shoulder and watching the main event"
