The article about cruising the Great Loop in last monthās Yachting World is good, and by saying āGulf of Mexicoā consistently itās actually better than the official NOAA site about the route is at the moment. Everything they say seems accurate to what Iāve read from people who have done the Great Loop, and it really does sound like an interesting way to explore the Eastern US! I donāt think thereās really anything in the article that would have been out of place two or five or ten years ago, itās a totally innocuous and fun travel article.
ā¦and I hate that I read it and wonder if itās irresponsible for a British magazine like this not to include any sort of travel warning.
