roadies where he’s gone for a longer period of time are never easy. jeremy always seems to creep his way back into your mind as you’re getting ready for bed, and you can’t shake the thought.

your phone snaps you out of your thoughts, and you see the contact name and you smile. he always seems to know when you need him the most.

“hi.” he smiles brightly at you, shirtless and sitting in bed.

“hi baby.”you return the smile.

“i miss you. tell me all about your day honey.”

“i miss you more, you have no idea. it was long. i had to finish up a project for work, and then i was too tired to make myself dinner so i ordered takeout.” your eyes remain on him through the screen the whole time.

“was it good?” you see him adjusting the screen so the phone is propped up.

“so good. got our favorite.” you grin, giggling at the way his eyebrows raise, faking anger.

“without me?”

“i had to. i’ve been thinking about you all day, and i needed something to remind myself of you.”

“oh sweets,” he lets a tiny frown take over his lips. “i’ve been thinking about you too, so much. but there’s only two more days, and i’m all yours for awhile.”

you smile, but it doesn’t quite meet your eyes. “i love you.”
