I got bad news.... The Chocolate Deluxe cover (that most of you have seen with the chocolate on it) was rejected by my digital distributor and therefore wasn't pushed out to all digital stores. The irony of this is, that cover was not my original idea for the cover, it came as an after thought. Originally, I asked my Wife to be my muse for the cover and project. To make a long story short... I became impatient with the timing of making that happen and went a different direction. (see how that turned out). I also didn't communicate my urgency well. I say all that to say... sometimes it is best to run with your original thought and ALL the times...it's best to communicate with your Wife. Good news is...she was gracious enough to be my model for my cover. She truly is my Chocolate Deluxe and inspired the name and the feel of the project. The project is now available on iTunes, Amazon, and Apple Music as of today and will be every where else digitally next week. Give it a spin!!! Elevate (Elevaate) {The Breakdown} This song sounds like "crazy love" at night to me. That kind of love that elevates the heart rate. I tried to get the kick drum to mimic a heart beat. The synths brings the frenzy to the track. The vocals...stable yet unstable. A lot like new love...lol. Ultron {The Breakdown} While creating music, I usually am simultaneously bombarded with visuals. It's just how my mind works. "In my mind" lol... I could Ultron stepping on the scene with the smoke! DEFINITELY one of the hardest songs on the project. I also love the extra percussions bouncing around in the back ground. Always wanted to try that, just didn't know where it would fit.
