Gravity Wolf Anubis Racer edition.
My poor beat up Gravity Wolf took a spill off my shelf a few months ago so I thought while I was fixing it, I'd give it a new coat of paint and try out some techniques with painting and stenciling. I ran into a few problems, mostly because of the age and not-terribly great quality of the plastic but overall it was fun to do. Clicky joints and scuffs took some putty; younger me wasnt very gentle to Zoids. Oh well.
The colour scheme looks great in person [painted mirror chrome, gloss black, gold and sky blue inspired by Zone of Enders and Lapis Lazuli] but its suffering to try and take photos of. In strong sunlight there's five million flares and everything shows up super shiny/washes out the detail but indoor light doesn't quite capture the colours. I might try shutter speeds + twilight to try and get the right photo matches but that can be for another day.
Finally got to the gravity zoids while slowly rewatching Fuzors. Remembered I had this old photo.
No but ok seriously: tacky 90's style paint and chrome Gravity Wolf. I have one sitting on my shelf. I think it's getting disassembled and cleaned today.
