#gravity bound

Okay, get ready because this is a long, long, long post! And if you read through the entire thing, well, kudos, kudos!

Thanks so much for suggesting this to me seraphofivorylight! I've actually been thinking of this crossover for a while and I got so excited drawing it I probably looked like a kid on Christmas heheheh Also I'm sorry that this is late, college has gotten really, really busy so something like this that should've taken me two days took me a week. Curse you college professors... But yeah I should have the time to work on those requests soon? Hopefully? Maybe?

I have decided to dub this crossover Gravitybound! I have no idea if anyone has ever come up with the idea for this type of crossover before, but if you have, you're amazing for thinking of it and I seriously don't intend to steal any ideas. But if there is something on here similar to what you've come up with, please don't be mad...most of this comes from my own brain and the series themselves, so...

Now for the drawings y a y

Yeah, I realize that there’s two different styles going here. I’m just so comfortable with drawing my GF style with, you know, the GF characters and my other style with the EB/M3 characters and so on...so that’s why there’s a mix of both eheh 0w0 (Also, yes, the post-game AU is mine. You can check it out here!)

Starting out, the most obvious character changes are: Claus + Lucas and Stan + Ford! They're twins so it works. And Older!Claus and Lucas are just hggnnn //drools LOOK AT THAT ADORABLE LUCAS FORD PUPPY FACE. But gosh even imagining the M3 ending with Ford and Stan makes me want to scream, curl up into a ball and cry for hOURS TTmTT

Ma Pines + Filbrick Pines and Hinawa + Flint: This works quite well since you can't see Flint or Filbrick's eyes (not counting the M3 endgame when Flint's hat comes off, haha). This is pretty sad because, well...we all know what happens to Hinawa...

Boney and Waddles: They're both the house pets so it's perfect!

Wendy and Kumatora: Both are pretty badass and are independent women who can stand up for themselves. They're also quite tomboyish!

Soos and Duster: Handyman and pseudo-thief with hearts of gold! Both of them try to look out for the people dear to them.

Gideon and Porky: Ahh, the assholes of the fandoms. Everybody hates their guts in one way or another. They're both chubby piggy boys who are immensely selfish and ruin the lives of the twins in both universes. That and there's also the awesome trade of the Porky Statue and Gideon's giant robot.

Bud Gleeful and Fassad: Underlings of Gideon and Porky! Bud's not as malicious as Fassad but they're both equally annoying in my opinion.

Carla and Li'l Miss Marshmallow: They don't have much of an appearance in their universes (more like a cameo) but people draw fanart and ship them with Stan and Claus respectively anyway. Marshmallow would also make an awesome Giffany...hmm...decisions, decisions...

Fiddleford and Fuel: Both very close friends to at least one of the twins (Ford and Claus). Though it would be really sad to see Fuel go insane...

Bill Cipher and Giygas/Giegue: Both are alien creatures who came to fck everything up! They're both intent on destroying everything that the characters hold dear and they sure do love to mess with people. That and both Gideon and Porky have made a sort of "deal" with them at one point.

Dipper and Ness: I had a hard time with this one for a while. I couldn't figure out where to put Dipper and Mabel, but then I realized I have two other games to work with! Ness and Dipper are both heroes in their own way and both have some weaknesses, but overall they're super awesome characters that always come out on top.

Mabel and Paula: Slightly awkward because it's implied that Ness and Paula get together at the end of Earthbound, but I didn't want to put Mabel with Tracy since she has such a small role in the game. That and she's much younger than Ness. But both are very supportive of Dipper and Ness and can definitely kick some butt with their grappling hook and frying pans!

Grenda and Poo: Now we're switching up genders, but whatever. Both are very powerful fighters and are loyal to their friends. And pretty manly (sorry, Grenda).

Candy and Jeff: They're both super shy yet adorable all the same! They also both have glasses, but that's getting into the technical stuff.

Pacifica and Nana: The two bratty blondes (well, not really Nana, she just talks a lot and tends to be super annoying).

(I'd totally involve Mother 1 if there were more characters to trade over...but alas, there aren't. At least not any I can think of. There's still a lot of extra characters from EB and M3 that need trading, like Dr. Andonuts, Leder, Rope Snake, Salsa...If you have any extra ideas feel free to pitch them to me! :D)

Story: With Gravity Falls into Earthbound/Mother 3: After Ma's death and Stan's disappearance, Ford sets off on a mission with Soos, Wendy and Waddles to find the seven journals and save the Gravity Islands from being overtaken by the dark demons of another dimension. They battle tons of strange and mystifying creatures along the way! This eventually leads to a clash with the heroes of the past: Dipper, Mabel, Grenda and Candy and a great battle ensues with their old arch nemesis Bill Cipher and Gideon Gleeful along with the Demon Army.

With Earthbound/Mother 3 into Gravity Falls: Ness and Paula struggle to discover the secrets of Nowhere Falls and the truth behind Giygas' evil plot for their dimension. Ness has found a strange needle that has tons of information stored inside...including details about the strange chimeras who call Nowhere Falls their home. Eventually Ness and Paula discover some of the truth along with their great uncles Lucas and Claus. With friends like Kumatora and Duster and enemies like Porky and Giygas, they're bound to have one hell of a summer vacation!
