Humans needed a lot of help. If Hesediel was a prideful angel -- and he was -- he’d think humans were lucky just to have him walking among them. Of course, his identity as an angel was a closely guarded secret. He couldn’t let that slip. Heaven had eyes and ears everywhere. Instead, he masqueraded as a healer. He had to help them. Someone had to, and Heaven was never going to actively save humans. The door to his current “pop-up shop” opened and footsteps approached his table, “If you’re looking for healing, services are done for the day.”

To be fair, this whole ‘angel’ thing didn’t come so naturally too him. Maybe it was the whole resurrection thing that threw him for a loop, or maybe it was the fact he was originally a human.
