i’m definitely all for racebending esp. because media is dominated by white men, but i’m personally not as cool with genderbending because it’s transphobic? i’m not nearly educated enough to determine what is transphobic and what’s not and i would absolutely love to see james bond re-envisioned as a poc woman one day, but as her own character if that makes sense? i’m not trying to start anything, but i personally do not interact with genderbent blogs for that reason.

The spell broke, and Newt flinched as if Graves had just slapped him in the face. He forced himself to look away so he could stop tracing the man’s lips with his eyes. He felt raw and naked under the man’s gaze--the way he looked at Newt spoke of judgement and knowing. He saw right through him.

And he said Theseus. Oh god, what if Theseus knew? His dissapointing, eccentric little brother was now queer? He’d make sure that their family never talk about him ever again. How foolish of him to had thought that Graves, Thesues’ friend, would reciprocate his feelings. He must looked like a naive, ignorant child to the both of them.
