I Replaced My Leg Tendons (For Yoga) And Now My Leg Is Haunted
Many years ago, there was a rash of killings in my town. It ended up being the work of deranged serial killer Lester Garry Bearl. He was caught, convicted, and sentenced to death. Ever since then, I have vowed to live my life to the fullest, because you never know when some crazy dude is going to come at you with a khopesh and start talking about how much they admire your teeth shape. Michael Turner provides variant covers for DC Comics, is still dead?
Popular illustrator of really skinny superheroes returns from grave? In a move that is definitely cool, and not at all ghoulish and mercenary, Aspen Studios and DC Comics are teaming up to provide a new series of Michael Turner drawn variant covers for DCâs newly ârebornâ stable of long underwear comix. You guys can probably tell that Iâm not a big fan of the âviolent plunder and grave-robbingâ method of filling up museums
âBut Kiwi, how will else will we get ridiculously old shinies to drool over/ study?â
Well, when you start out by treating foreign peoples and governments like equals and not a smaller kid you can mug for lunch money, you can ASK to borrow shinies!Â
And if you pay the ludicrous expenses to have ye olde shinies taken out of the ground respectfully and carefully, they might even permanently gift you some of the shinies because now you are a friend and not a bandit spitting on their heritage.Â
Honestly, how many of us would be able to tell if we were looking at the real bust of Nefertiti or a painstakingly hand painted 3D model?Â
Museum quality replicas are bloody good in their own right and not all shinies are sacred objects - it is entirely possible to fill a museum with cracking good content that doesnât involve committing an atrocity

Something stirring in the dark...
So today for the fairly terrible, generic YA fantasy novel I'm writing, I cobbled together a chapter about a grave-robbery gone wrong... and there wasn't even any corpse resurrection! Maybe I can add living dead later on.
Three Kings in a Box
We Three Kings of Orient are long since dead. The relics of our worship hidden far beyond the indigence of pop idolatry. Or so we thought... but Westerners have ways of resurrecting sacred things from starlit slumber. They gave up on gold and frankincense, the gravity of myrrh; instead they turn to graveyard theft, make bids on dusty bones, can't let us decompose in heavenly peace. Dear Detective, if you find the infidel who woke us up, be kind, be man, put kingly remnants low beneath the earth where they belong.
