Yes! Japanese cut is great, very comfortable and it looks great, plus nothing gets in the way, you don’t have to be pulling anything up, or down all the time.

Shureido, along with Hokkaido are the two oldest brands of gi around, both are very high quality. They are expensive, but not completely unaffordable. They do last a long time. I’ve never had one of these, but I’ve met teachers that do, that have had them for years, and they look great.

According to a very basic BMI calculator, I'm at a borderline unhealthy range.  But that only calculates my height and weight proportions, not my actual fat percentage.

Ah, that's another thing.  I drink water like crazy.  Hahaha!  I usually drink around 7-10 glasses a day because I constantly feel thirsty and have a fear of being dehydrated.
