Outcome Of Thank You Card
This is the final outcome of the quick and simple thank you card I have made, I believe that it's a very strong outcome in a very small amount of time, it took me less than 20 minutes to create this thank you card by using the same leaf drawing from my tshirt design and I just copied and pasted it through the document and changed the bsckground in a soothing organic colour. I then simply added some small information about my social medias at the bottom to promote my brand. I also did the small logos in Illustrator very quickly. It's a very cute and aesthetic thank you card that will go within the brand and it's very simplistic. The only change or issue I have with the outcome itself was the logo of the website because it just looks quite confusing and last minute made which it was.
T-shirt Design Process (4)
This is by far the most simplistic and aesthetic looking design and I believe it's a very strong outcome when matching it with my branding and it also gives out sustainably fashioned t-shirts. I asked my friends and family what theu think of this design and most really liked it because of the colours I used and the simplistic design it has.
I used the shape tool and used the rectangle shape to be able to have a colour for the background and I chose an off-white colour with some hint of pink and brown, I then started to draw some different shapes and experiment with different shapes that goes well within the colour of the background, I then chose different colours and went into object > expand appearance > fill paint > paint and it will enable me to fill inside the shapes and then I chose which will be the top layer and the bottom layer.
In addition, I drew a simple leaf drawing and placed it around the shapes to add some composition and rearranged the position of the shapes to a more suiting area.
I then added a textured paper background and lowered the opacity so that the design is a lot more visible and I just wanted a small textured effect to make it look a lot more vintage and aesthetic.
T-shirt Design Process (3)
I personally loved this outcome because of the colours and the simplistic design it held, some might be skeptical of the colour choices but I think its bold and good to experiment with some colours.
I started to experiment with layers of irregular shapes and just starting to think of what to design so that there are some theme to my designs and branding, I chose another offset pink for a background because I believe it worked very well with the recent outcome I have made. Any of the unusual shapes I drawn on doesn't work and I thought of adding a simplistic vase and some flowers to go with the vase.
I then started to create the vase by using the ellipse tool for the round shape of the vase and and then used the brush tool in Illustrator to draw the opening of the vase, I did it carefully so that it looked sharp and clean. I then added a simple rock with a really nice offset brown and lowered the opacity to see through to the other layer and I thought it looked very professional and composed.
I started to draw the leaf/flower pattern and I chose a photo of my eucalyptus plant in my room and just drew the outlines of the plant. I placed it on top of the opening of the vase and used the transform tool to reshape and make the drawing slightly curved. I did not fill the outlines because I thought it looked very good without the fill and just by itself.
Furthermore, I added a patterned background by using a textured picture and placed it into the illustrator document and used image traced to get the textures and changed the settings for the threshold, I then used the magic wand tool to delete the background. I cropped the texture to the area I liked and placed it on top of each other with some spaces. I went into edit > texture > grain and added some grain to the pink background to have more texture.
