#graphic tutorial

The sites/apps I use are: Pinterest, photoroom, Ezgif and Ibispaint X. 

First things first, for where I get my IMG’S it is always pinterest. I usually have a pinterest board of pic’s i’d wanna turn into pixels! If I want png’s that are already transparent I use tumblr ♥️

Second, if the photo doesn’t have a bg that I can’t easily remove I use photorooms. Or any other remove bg site.

Third, the animations itself. For basic things you usually just need 2 frames. This is were I use ibispaint. Examples below.

For more complex animations you’ll need more frames so keep that in mind! More movement = more frames, it’s best to do that so it wont feel choppy and more fluid!

After you’ve done your animation you want to use the site Ezgif. Press the gif maker option and put your two frames into it. I usually set my speed to 50. The lower the delay is set to the faster it goes. TIP: if you’re doing a more complex animation it’s smarter to make some frames a faster delay so it doesn’t feel as stiff!

Then, I use the resize option. THIS PART IS NOT NEEDED! U can resize it or not, but I usually do the size 120.

Should look like this!!

• Make a new project. You can use any dimensions.

I´m making it 10 pixels x 10 pixels.

• Make a shape, ratio 1x1, choose an even number so it will be centered.

Delete the background if you want only the shape to be repeated.

• Edit -> Define New -> Pattern

✨ We’re done!

The pattern will be saved in the default folder on Photopea.

• To save the pattern on your computer/device you need to open a dropdown menu on the pattern.

• New fill layer -> Pattern Fill. You´ll see your newly created pattern at the end of the default ones. Click on the pattern then on the arrow pointing down, export as .pat.

Your loaded patterns will appears below the default ones.

You can use anything as a pattern.

alrighty so first step is I get whatever base image I want! I just looked up "banner graphics" on pinterest and found one I liked, will provide it below :3

for the background texture I search "texture overlays" on pinterest once more, using the masking tool in ibis paint and colorings!

the font I used is called Porkys, I just looked up the font and found a generator of it! I adjust it how I want over top the texture overlay, adding a gradient around the letters and a border with the "stroke outer" tool in the ibis paint style effects section! all of this is made on ibis paint btw ^_^

for character pngs on top, I either look up "*insert wtv character* png/transparent/render" on tumblr or go on the wiki page of the character and cut it out myself if needed! I use the "grayscale" at specifically brightness 0-10 depending on the image and contrast 10-15 !! I then duplicate the grayscaled png twice, one I put under and use the stroke outer tool, the other on top with an alpha lock layer of the color(s) I want it to be!

for color overlay settings I use "pin light" at around 50-75 percent opacity, but you can play around with it to your likings! and it will also look different depending on the colors you use and want :D

to get the white around the whole border I just duplicated the base layer, put it underneath, alpha locked and colored it white, then stretched it to be around it cuz that specific base template did NOT wanna co-operate with the stroke tool....I.

with all steps done you can of course add your own personal flairs and overlays onto it, I kept mine quite simple, but you now should have your finished product!!!
