NICO- “So does the furniture stay?”

GRADY- “Yes, unless you do not want it. Many of the items here in the house are Goth heirlooms, but you being a descendant of the Goth’s it would be of interest to you.”

NICO- “Yes, I would like for everything to stay.

GRADY- “You probably are aware of it’s history, but the home was built by the first Mortimer Goth for his beautiful wife, Bella.  He moved here with his Mother after his father’s death at the Old Crumplebottom House caught fire and he died there.”

NICO- “Yes, the Boedell’s were given the Crumplebottom house by Bella to my Great Grandmother Saffie.  That is where my mother lives and was raised.”

GRADY- “Yes, of course, I am sorry Mr. Boedell. I didn’t mean anything by that, it’s just in all my years in real estate I have never had one buy a home without a loan....Have your attorney call my office and I will give him the information he needs, and once the papers are signed and the funds are transferred you will be the new owner of the Goth Manor!  We can have everything completed by four o’clock this afternoon.”

NICO- “That is perfect!  Thank you Grady.  I have always loved this home. I spent most of my teen years hanging out here with Lachlan and Lennon. It will be like coming home almost.  Lennon is going to be so happy.”

GRADY- “I tell you what, I can give you the key right now, and you can call him over and tell him.  I think that would be a great way to restart your relationship.”

NICO- “You know what, I agree!!”

THREE WEEKS LATER-

NICO- “Thank you for meeting me on such short notice, Grady”

GRADY- “No problem, at all, Mr. Boedell. Your mother called me and said you were interested in this place so I rushed right over. Are you looking to buy for yourself or for an investment.”

NICO- “For myself, and what will soon be my very dysfunctional family. I am relocating here from Brindleton Bay.”

GRADY- “This place has been on the market for a while. When Mr. Goth died the family decided to let the house go to sell. Lachlan already owns a home here in Willow Creek and his brother Lennon is here in Willow Creek and he didn’t want it, said it was too big for just him.  So their mother and sister moved to San Myshuno.  It’s a shame, as this home has been in the Goth Family for many years now.”

NICO- “Yes, I am very familiar with the house and it’s history. My great grandfather, Cruz was a grandson of Morgana Goth.  And I am hoping that Lennon will move back here with me.”

GRADY- “Oh, so you and he were together?”

GRADY- “This is the master bedroom, all that was done up here was the adjoing bedroom was taken out and replaced with a master bathroom. Everything else is the same as it was when Mortimer and Bella slept here. Even the furnishings in here have been refurbished.”

NICO- “I may need to change that a little. Maybe brighten it up in here without all the red. But that should take much at all.”

GRADY- “There is another bedroom across the hall and the main bath.  Then upstairs are two other rooms that can be used as bedrooms, with a small bath as well.  Would you like to see the pool, family room and gym in the basement?”

NICO-  “No, I think I have seen enough. I want it.”

GRADY- “Really??!”

NICO- “Yes, and I want immediate occupancy. I can call my bank and wire the funds immediately.”

GRADY- “You are paying for it outright?!”

NICO- “Yes, is there a problem with that?”

GRADY- “Uh...no, not at all. As long as you have the funds.”

NICO- “I love this kitchen!!”

GRADY- “Yes, it is quite nice. It was expanded and the bathroom moved to the backside instead of off the hallway. All state of the art appliances.’

NICO- “Lennon’s dad didn’t skimp on anything. Is this all the old crown molding?”

GRADY- “The majority of it yes, some had to be replaced due to damage and just age. The bedrooms upstairs all have the original walls and crown moldings. It didn’t have much changed up there.  You can always redecorate up there.”

NICO- “So what are they asking again?”

GRADY- “Two hundred and ninety-five simoleons. That’s a firm price.”
