So the challenge has finally ended and some bad posts too. 😂

My mid terms will start in last week of May and I know nothing. NOTHING. 1/3rd of tha syllabus is coming. And as I said. I know nothing.😭

2. What is their wand wood and core? Dogwood with unicorn hair core. The irony of her wood being dogwood and her father’s animagus being a dog is not lost on me. Coupled with the attributes of the wood (known to perform outstanding spells under pressure, playful nature, drawn to the quirky and mischievous), this was 100% intentional and I regret nothing lol 4. What Hogwarts house were they sorted into? Why did the hat put them in that house over the others? Was it a quick sorting or a hatstall? Are they happy with their sorting? What Hogwarts house would they least fit into? Prue is a Hufflepuff! This actually made her laugh with great joy because of how proud her father would be of her, another Black tarnishing the family name by not being in Slytherin. She was actually a hatstall; true hatstalls are rare but she was a near hatstall, which are more common. The Sorting Hat wanted to put her in Slytherin and Gryffindor but Prue didn’t want either. Slytherin because of all the nasty rumors about them (which she no longer believes) and Gryffindor because she didn’t think of herself as a very brave person. It tried to tempt her into Ravenclaw, but her mother was a Hufflepuff and Prue demanded the hat put her there. Because of this, Prue is very happy with her sorting; being in Hufflepuff lets her feel closer to her mother. Gryffindor is probably the House she thinks she’d fit into the least, despite having many friends there. She doesn’t think of herself as brave or daring, let alone aspiring to any of the other traits associate with the House. 6. What electives do they chose in third year? Because she wants to be a curse-breaker, she takes arithmancy and ancient runes which are required for the job. Prue continues to the advanced arithmancy her final two years along with apparition. Prue is terrible on a broom and one doesn’t always have a floo around or a portkey handy so apparition is necessary. 8. How do they do on their OWLs? On their NEWTs? Prue does very well! She’s an academic so her scores on both are good. I haven’t worked out all which classes she’s taking but, for the ones I do have figured out, her OWLs are: Potions (A), Charms (O), Transfiguration (O), Arithmancy (E), Herbology (A), DADA (O), Ancient Runes (E), Astronomy (A). For these classes, her NEWTs are very much the same.  10. What Wizarding treat (bertie botts, chocolate frogs, etc.) is their favorite? Shock-o-choc! It’s her favorite treat to get at Honeydukes: dark chocolate with chili powder. 12. What is their Boggart? What happens to it when they cast Riddikulus? I haven’t thought about this actually. I know Prue is terrified of pixies so a swarm of them would probably be er boggart, then they’d burst into harmless confetti or candy bursting out of a piñata. I’m assuming her boggart would change though, as people’s fears often do. Seeing her father or Bill’s dead body would definitely be a boggart as the war rages on, but I have no idea how you’d make that funny. 14. What spell is their favorite? Which do they use the most? She became quite good at using the Oscausi charm in her final year. Although it’s a moderately dark hex that seals a persons mouth shut, she found it came in handy after news of her being Sirius Black’s daughter broke out. It certainly stopped people from randomly jinxing her in the hallways, although it did earn her a fair few detentions and inevitably cost her, her Prefect badge. It’s also far more effective than a simple silencing charm since, unless a person can do windless magic (and there’s very few wizards who can), the victim needs help to remove the spell. In the heat of battle, that might be difficult and its rather disorienting losing your mouth so it works as a decent distraction. 16. If they trained as an Animagus what form would they take? Prue actually does train to be an animagus! She befriends a werewolf student in her House that’s a few years above her, Chiara, and it was after Prue’s discovery of Chiara’s affliction with lycanthropy that she started studying to become an animagus. She had vague memories of a large black dog chasing her, only to have her father scoop her into his arms and that memory, coupled with her readings on the behaviors of werewolves (along with seeing Professor McGonagall transform), made her realize her father and uncles had been animagus to help Remus cope with the moon. Determined to the do the same for Chiara, she eventually succeeded and took the form of a flying squirrel.  18. Which Unforgivable Curse would they be most likely to use? What would be the reason for it? I think, given the right circumstance, Prue would use the Killing Curse. The reason would have to be dire. Her father or Bill or any of her closest friends either being killed or put at serious risk, it would give her the push she needs to use when, normally, she’d avoid it all costs. She’d probably have a Molly Weasley moment and go tf off. 20. Which Deathly Hallow (wand, stone, or cloak) would they want? Why? She’d probably want the stone, purely because it would allow her to see her mother again. Dorcas was murdered when Prue was five so her memories are scant and few, feel more like dreams most of the time. She has pictures, of course, but pictures aren’t the same as actual memories. The stone could change that entirely, allowing her to ‘make up for lost time’ as it were.
