It's just my opinion, ok? I just miss Aang. I just miss Aang and I think Korra, she should have something from his personality, because after all the Avatar is an only soul. I just miss Aang and I believe that Korra should ask Katara what to do, because she was the one closest to him, or in other words, the one closest to her. And Mako isnāt her āsoulmateā, is him? Because Katara is still alive and according do ATLA, the Avatar soul and their soulmate are going to be together in the mortal world
you are allowed to miss aang! lord knows i was tearing up staring at aang's statue and like ready to stroke the screen.................
but that's not how the avatar spirit itself works. aang and katara are soulmates, but the avatar spirit itself does not have a soulmate or anything. it is an independent entity on its own that is a collection of the knowledge and experience that the previous vessels of the avatar spirit have acquired.
yeah katara would offer good advice but i get the feeling it would be what unalaq told her--be true to yourself, do what you feel is right, etc
maybe korra will ask her in the future, we'll just have to wait and see.
