Is this a safe space to admit I only tuned into Stranger Things 5 for Mileven? I knew after Hopper's fakeout death they would all be fine at the end, I just wanted to know if Mike and El would get to be together forever
Is it a hot take to say I would've rather had the Abyss/USD taken over Earth than whatever the fuck happened to El and Mileven
God I have such a difficult time deciding if I love s1 or s2 Mileven more. Because s1 Mileven is just a fucking excellent foundation, so much much is communicated about the complexity of their characters and mutual benefit in their relationship and it's pure and deep and true, but god, s2 Mileven is just cosmic and otherworldly and intense and they aren't even physically together for most of it but their bond carries the season.
I can't believe Mike called El beautiful when he was thirteen years old at the snowball... like what thirteen year old boy compliments girls like that ðŸ˜

I'm so emotional about Mileven today and I just remember their forehead touching and I want to literally break out sobbing
Side note I keep seeing on Twitter circulating that allegedly the Duffer Brothers gave Finn and Millie freedom for the Purple Rain scene and now I am like ohhhhh so Mileven really was the actors
Also I rewatched that scene and holy shit it is sad beautiful tragic and iconic
