wednesday reveres the sadism nevermore brings. having to deal with other troubled kids of supernatural powers in such a confined space only fills her with loathing. enid introduced her to the deviant gangs that embodied the academy ﹘ there’s the werewolf social gathering, the sirens, the gargoyles, the psychics and the witches, among many others. wednesday doesn’t feel like she belongs to any, a solitary raven among many teens is what she identifies as. oh, and the vampires. she yearns to have a similar fate, somehow cheating death and carrying on with her life. the fright that would ensue leaves her electrified.
entering the conservatory, wide-eyed gazed raven examines her surroundings. if she doesn’t take the botanical plants into account, there is a considerable amount of students attending. she looks for a habitué, but most seats have already been taken. adjusting the strap on her bag, she marches toward the central seats where she wiggles her way to sit next to… a vampire. it doesn’t take her long to recollect enid’s speech and recognize the person she sits next to. even if she wanted to, she couldn’t disregard his presence. one of the tallest students, correction, beings she have ever encountered, if she crosses lurch out of the equation.
“is it taken?” she asks as she sits down beside him, a rhetorical question whose answer wouldn’t make much of a difference at that point. wednesday proceeds to peer at him through her peripheral vision as she carefully takes out her notebook and a decades old fountain pen. one of her personal philosophies dictates that one should believe nothing they hear and half of what they see. enid’s preamble did leave a mark, yet her curiosity seizes mere claims from someone that videoblogs the course of everyone’s lives as long as they’re confined underneath those walls of nevermore. “@gr1zzlys, you got to be one of the vampires my roommate keeps talking about. the rumours are bewitching nonetheless.” she admits, rather intrigued by the person beside her.
