CHARACTER PROFILES: DOCTOR SUNG
Sung is an emotional child. Just as quick to cry as he is to laugh, he has feelings about everything and he wears them right on his sleeve. Heโs less bothered by being a child, and more upset about the resulting lack of motor control and emotional stability. Also unstable are his empath powers, awake again after years of lying practically dormant. He never learned how to control them, only how to squash them down deep inside. Being able to sense how stressed out everyone is doesnโt make his situation any easier, but at the very least, his job is clear: keep everyoneโs spirits up until they get back to normal. The teamโs optimist and resident ray of sunshine. Sung is happiest when heโs making others happy. And when heโs petting his dog, Gooby. And when heโs working out, or playing shows, or playing video games... Thereโs a lot that makes him happy.
Was born in the Big Bang, and has time traveled enough that heโs lost track of his actual age. Phobos and Meouch know heโs old, but only Havve knows just how ancient he is.
Was born with empathic abilities. He never learned to train them, and as a result, they have dulled severely over time. Normally, he can only sense emotions that are strong enough to show outwardly anyway, so his powers arenโt terribly useful and often are forgotten. However, now that heโs a kid again...
Captain of the teamโs ship. Heโs done enough space-faring in his many years that he knows all the roles of a crew inside and out, so heโs good at giving out the orders. Plus, he really wanted the captainโs chair. Itโs the only one with two cup holders.
Once ate an entire jar of pickles in one sitting and was found curled up on the toilet, crying, three hours later.
