i was reading up on news about the winds of winter bc i need George to finally come fix dumb and dumbers train wreck of a final season and he's said that the others appear in twow, so the long night or battle for winterfell or whatever it will be in the books will probs take place at the beginning of a dream of spring or around the middle and it occurred to me that d&d essentially tried to wrap up half a book (which is a 1,500 manuscript) ... in three episodes!!!!!! once the battle against the others is over, grrm will probably still have half a book dedicated to the ending, potentially around 750 - 1000 manuscript pages... and d&d attempted to do that in 8x04, 8x05 and 8x06. like??? why???? it just makes me so angry!!! we could have had 10 seasons that grrm was involved in of a great show with satisfying character endings and instead we got 8x04, 8x05 and 8x06. fuck you d&d

can anyone recommend any good s7 or s8 rewrites of game of thrones? i can't find any decent ones and i'm especially bitter since it's been one year since 8x06
