They can become so obsessed with watching that they don’t notice incoming attacks; Trainers must be vigilant in order to keep their young Gothita’s focused in battle. Their psychic power, strengthened by their multiple ribbon-like feelers, increases greatly as they age. These Pokemon mature slowly, and have been observed controlling sleeping children at night with their hypnotic abilities in order to create friends for themselves.

#575.5 - Gothorita mature more quickly than their previous stage, and their psychic abilities increase greatly during this period of rapid development. At night they are observed marking star positions by using their abilities to levitate stones. Encouraged by this behavior, Pokemon scientists strongly believe that Gothorita draw their psychic power from starlight. A lonely Pokemon by nature, this species craves companionship, and will often look into the future to see their Trainer’s lifespan; wishing their Trainer to live longer, they cry in sadness at what they see.
