︻デ═一 A cigarette hung loosely out of his mouth, head down as he worked. The night seemed to drag on endlessly. So much fighting and running and more fighting. It lasted long enough that when it was all over and the dust had settled he invited her back to his safehouse without a thought. He wouldn’t let her go off on her own, not if she was even half as exhausted as he was. Unceremoniously he pulled her thigh between his open legs.
Steady hand pinched the open flesh and worked on neat lines of stitching. Only picking his head up to flick the end of his smoke off in the ashtray place next to his medical work station on a drab pop up table. More meant for a garage poker game than a first aid station he didn't have the heart to replace it. Still, he put down forcepts and scissors on table and gently cleaned up the excess blood with a strip of gauze and some mild solution. He was tender with his actions, even if his face remained in a scowl.
With a sigh he finally sat back as wooden chair squeaked. He pulled off his shirt and hissed knowing that a gash crossed his shoulder. ❝ Your turn to stitch. ❞ He groaned and swung his leg over the back of the chair. Facing away from her with arms crossed over the backrest.

︻デ═一 Jason accepted the blanket easily as he laid out on the couch just barely big enough for him. He mumbles a small thank you and takes a deep breath in through his nose as he tries to wake himself up a bit. He did look up from the television and lifted up the blanket, silently inviting her under as well. A slightly devilish smile on his face considering there was no more couch space to lay on.

Jason talking about how he can’t show too much emotion around the batfamily because they’ll think he’s coming unhinged again and how he feels like they don’t let him grieve because they feel he should just get over all the things that have happened to him. And her relating because of feeling emotionally restricted.

╾━╤デ╦︻ I don’t know how we’d go about it, but book club. They meet once a month and trade books and talk about what they’ve read over tea and have a nice time.
