its thur again so have politics again.
Telford tonight, if geography serves its Manchester way, lets see what you got then.
Interesting panalists on tonight, well Camilla Long is anyways.
Whose fault is it that net migration rising?
Erm.
The government because they have free open movement policy due to us being in europe, we are an attractive proposition because well were a soft touch country, we can offer them money that other countries can not and well we have not got any form of control. If we had a point based system we could have tighter control over who comes in the country.
Oh God the UKIP guy is making a good sound bite again.
As is the labour person, phew.
Oh Wolverhamptom, Georgraphy fail.
Its a fair point from Lib Dems to, start ups, the figures etc are madness.
However we need to make sure they do intergrate and can communicate etc.
Oh we have commedians in the audiance, keeping a dull topic intresting.
At the end of the day is it really a big issue.
Should MPS be allowed to have second jobs?
Well thats simple enough to answer, a big fat no.
Depending on the job of course.
If your having a second job then you can not be doing your best ability to represent the people who voted you in.
But if the job is linked to being an mp or is serving the public then fine. Like if an mp is also in a position where skills need to be kept up to date, e.g medical profession or teacher etc then the job can help the community then thats fine on a just enough to keep relevent level.
I also think that a job like that can keep people in touch with the real world. The labour lady has done good there though.
I don't agree with Camila MPS do get enough money compaired to the rest us.
The Nurse is bang on point.
Young people going to Syria, are they victums or terrorists?
Contriversal question.
Both. They got on the planes as victums of brain washing or wanting glory or whatever but now their probably terrorists. And thats a shame but not unsuprising. ISIS is a slick organisation whom seem to be well organised and motivated around a common goal, that can offer a place to belong when young kids are looking for that. Not saying its the right choice for them, its definatly not but when we seem to be struggling to engage with young people in general, when we can not offer them a secure future, when youth unemployment is at a high etc its not suprising kids are drawn into that.
Start engaging with kids properly, get there prospects looking brighter, make this countryrelevent to them, offer them better alternatives and you can stop kids looking at isis as the better alternative.
how can we as a country keep on giving pensioners who do not need benefits, beneifts?
WE CAN'T.
Its a synical ploy to get the gray vote, and the sadthing is it appearsto work.
if child benefit can be means tested why can't winter fuel payments?
Or why can't bus passes be issued to young people struggling to get to work or education.
Or make it so people can opt out of receiving them, i know from experiance old people will not go after something they do notfeel they are entitled to so why can we not do itthat way.
Just a thought.
