i've always just headcannoned that the killing intent some people give off must be insane with Gothamites.
like the Bat's and villains are a given - but I'm talking about like regular old gothamites, the everyday citizens.
like some rando decides to (somehow) go on holiday to like Metropolis and people are just?? walking on the opposite side of the street, side eyeing this dude, clutching purses, etc. basically treating him like a bad dude.
Superman hears a scream, goes to help, and it's this gothamite handing a wallet back and Supes is confused asf, like:
Supes: "hello, do you need help?"
metropolis citizen: "yes please, he's trying to steal my wallet!"
gothamite: "ma'am, i am so clearly trying to give it back"
Superman just takes the wallet and hands it back, and the lady like sprints the fuck away, and he turns back to the dude like ????? and he's just like "I'm from Gotham"
