Selena Kyle

Selena and you are a great team though independent. While you would be distracting your victim, Selena would walk by and pickpocket the money that would feed you both. She isn't that into PDA, although she didn't let your relationship be a secret. She'd give you kisses every now and then but never when the spotlight is on you both. You also wouldn't have to worry about money when you really want something. If you oggle or express any sort of interest in something from a store, Selena will have it personally delivered to you by midnight. You wonder how she gets the pricey items but a thief never tells.

Jeremiah Valeska

Pre-gas: Jeremiah would be insanely overprotective. He would try to keep you in the bunker as close as possible so that you wouldn't get hurt by either the cruel standard Gotham criminals or worse, his own brother. However if you ever needed to go out for whatever reason, he would have Ecco guard you to keep you safe. He knows you are a strong person but he also knows that he loves you too much to let you go alone. He is always working on his projects, day and night so you would have to drag him to bed. Even though he can be stubborn, you just have to put on your pouty face for Jeremiah to follow you into the bed. The best part is his cuddles. He can be so cuddly and so gentle at the same time.

Post-gas: The whole city knew the second you two got together. Jeremiah just couldn't keep his mouth shut about you. He practically worshipped you himself, making his followers do the same. He would assign the most loyal and trustworthy follower to guard you at all times. If anything had changed from the gas he was sprayed with, it was certainly not how overprotective he is. If someone were to look you in the wrong way, a snicker, a rude side comment, a small judgemental look, Jeremiah would pull out the gun. He isn't afraid to show his devotion to you.

Jerome Valeska

Everyday is a new adventure between the two of you. However if you felt any fear or worry doing a specific thing, Jerome wouldn't allow that. In fact, he would try to push you beyond your limits, expanding you so that you can get over your fears. Of course, once it is sexual, he leaves your limits alone and respects your boundaries. But until then, he would try to drag you along with him everyday. It was no secret that he loved you. It was also no secret that he can get possessive. Unlike his brother, he rather keep you to himself than assign some other psycho to take care of you. He wouldn't let a stranger as so much as brush his hand against yours. In fact, he would try to get payback on others if they flirted with you or let on any sign of interest. You would often try to hold him back but not really succeeding half the time.

Oswald Cobblepot

He tries to be the biggest gentleman you know. Always spoiling you with goods, he also tries to keep your relationship on the down low. He cherishes you a lot but is distant when it comes to the press. He still hadn't forgotten about Martin and he didn't want to be threatened with the same situation where they kidnap you. Instead, he checks up on you often and when he leaves, he calls up his most trustworthy employees to come and stay on guard. Oswald likes to treat you to fine things while you like to drag him to fun things. He would take you a date in an elegant and expensive restaurant as you would later on drag him to a fun game of Laser Tag. You balance each other out, making sure to protect each other and also love eachother.

Ed Nygma

Oswald Cobblepot

- Oswald came across you and your date while he was out on a walk. He was surprised to see that you, his child, had a date. He didn’t even know you dated yet and you hadn’t told him because you were scared of his reaction. And in the moment of seeing your father, you clutched your date’s hand in your own, fearing Oswald wouldn’t react well because he’s always super careful with everyone because anyone could be a spy, and Oswald was definitely suspicious. Because of course, you were his everything and he doesn’t want your heart to break. It requires some time and multiple awkward dinners together but he’ll come around to them if they treat you respectfully and you seem happy.

Jerome Valeska (AU with him living on and being old enough to have a teenager child)

- He had heard of your date long before you even had planned to tell him, so you gotta train your date to prepare - Jerome can get quite scary when he sarcastically tests your date out. But if your date has dark humor too or is witty with their answers, Jerome grows to like them in some extent. So pick out a person who’s brave enough to play along with Jerome, he doesn’t like it if your date is cowering before him and tries to please him just so he could let them to date you. He could use their will to please Jerome but he knows you would throw a fit from it.

Jeremiah Valeska (S5 finale version)

- Uhh… you’d better not bring your date up to your father, okay? But if (or when) he finds out that you have a sweetheart, he gives them a talk and that might lead to them avoiding you after that. Your father might seem irrational and crazy with his actions and you might feel like he did it to just piss you out or that he thinks you don’t deserve love, but he loves you in his own way and he’s actually a bit scared of you breaking your heart. But if you find someone who truly cares for you and actually is ready to accept Jeremiah as his potential father-in-law without another thought (with a healthy dose of fear ofc because otherwise it’s suspicious), he might accept your relationship with them.

Barbara Kean (S5 post-finale)

You were the sweetest, most caring person Oswald had ever met in his and it was what originally had attracted him to you.  He never really felt he was the type for the sweet, bubbly, significant other type but here he was completely in love with you and not 100% sure why.  Then he watched you mercilessly slice a man’s throat for double-crossing Oswald and realized o, that’s why.

Character: Ed

You were just Ed’s type, sweet, charming, funny, with a giggle that made his heart do backflips, nothing in his life was better than you.  However, who you were and his new life rarely ever worked together so he worked hard to make sure the streams never crossed.  You vaguely knew what he did but he was mostly a riddle to you and he liked it that way.   That was until you were almost mugged on the street and when he found you, bloody but fine, with the still smoking gun in your hand and a small smile on your face.  He realized then that maybe you could be useful in his life as more than just a paramour.

Character: Jerome

Barbara Kean

Deep down, Barbara would feel a bit sorry for you, but she wouldn’t show it on the outside. Instead, she’d be a little harsh, telling you that it’s useless to focus on the past, and that you should instead focus on your goals and what’s ahead of you. Plus, she’d remind you that you have a better family now, with her, Selina and Tabitha. She doesn’t intend to come off as mean, but she believes you deserve so much better and you are so much more than your past. 

Bridgit Pike

You could see the sympathy in Bridgit’s eyes, and she’d make a brief comment about how she knows how you feel, especially since she went through a rough childhood herself, which she might briefly talk about but wouldn’t go into detail. She wouldn’t know exactly how to make you feel better, although she wants to be there for you. She might show that she cares by looking out for you more, and getting a bit protective of you.

Fish Mooney

To your surprise, Fish would become rather protective of you. She’d become like a mother to you, albeit a rather strange one. Kindness aside, she’d also be tough on you, teaching you how to protect yourself and manipulate others so that you could never be hurt or taken advantage of again. She’d constantly remind you about how proud she is of you, how strong you’ve become, as if making up for the lack of kindness in your childhood. 

Jerome Valeska

Jerome would listen intently, agreeing to every word you said, often interjecting about how similar the two of you were. He’d make you feel heard in a strange way, since he’d always be able to relate your childhood to his, and how he’d be able to relate to whatever emotions you felt. Jerome would probably talk a lot about getting revenge on the people who’ve hurt the both of you, whilst making remarks about how he’s never met someone who’s so similar to him.

Jervis Tetch

Jervis would probably react with anger, but definitely not at you -- at whoever caused your childhood to be traumatic. He’d probably insist on hunting the individuals down and giving them what they deserve, going off on multiple ways he can seek revenge on your behalf. He’d probably also give you a big but awkward hug in an effort to comfort you, and letting you know how touched he is you opened up to him. 

Jonathan Crane

Jonathan be able to relate, and he’d remind you that everyone has had their share of pain, but it’s what you decide to do with it that makes you who you are. He’d tell you not to let your fears control you. He might try and concoct something that might help you deal with your trauma or get rid of any negative memories, and he’d also go after whoever had hurt you, making sure to whip up a special dose of fear toxin just for them. 

Victor Fries

Victor wouldn’t know how to react, although he would feel the slightest bit of sympathy. He’d probably offer to go after anyone who hurt you, since that’s the only thing he can think of to possibly make you feel better. He might be a little more cautious around you afterwards, being careful not to mention anything that might be a reference to your childhood, or any memories he knows you’d rather keep buried. 

Tabitha Galavan

Tabitha would be surprised you opened up to her. You didn’t expect her to be such a good listener, but she’d take the time to hear you out. Afterwards, she’d probably softly remind you that what’s in the past is finished, and that although you can’t do anything to change it, you have control of what happens in the moment now. She’d reassure you that she’s there for you whenever you need it, and that she’s always got your back.

   You sigh and set down your cellphone, you had just gotten off the phone with your mother Fish Mooney. She called, saying one of her waitresses called in and she needed a quick fill in for tonight. Fish wasn't your biological mother, your real mother left you on the doorstep of Mooney's club. She took pity and decided to raise you as her own child, and you loved her as a mother regardless of blood.

   You grab your purse and head out of your apartment towards her club with a pep in your step. Thankfully the club wasn't too far away.

   Oswald sat in a booth, twiddling his fingers as he watched the nightclub scene. He wasn't really into this, but he had to stay in this booth for the night while Mooney handled business upstairs. His cold eyes darted around on the familiar faces working; spotting Matt, Aliyah, and Laurie serving drinks, but then he spotted an unfamiliar face holding two drinks.

   He watched her for a half hour, scurrying around the bar and tables with great interest.

   You notice a man sitting at a table alone with no drinks or anything. You wondered if he had just got here or had been sitting there the entire time. So, with a smile on your face, you approached the table.

   "Hello, would you like anything to drink?" You smile, the man jumps and you take notice of his fidgety body language.

   "O-Oh! No thank you, m-miss!" He stuttered with smiled, a really cute smile. You looked over his appearance briefly; notably pale skin, black tuffs of hair stuck out and his piercing, ice blue eyes.  

   "Are you sure? You don't want any snacks or..."

   "I'm-I'm quite alright! I have to ask though, are you a new employee? I’ve never seen you work here before!”

   “Oh no, just filling in! Anyways I need to get back to work but, only if you want, we can sit and chat more?"

   "I would love to." He grinned and you smiled, giving a little wave before returning to the bar.

   Luckily, you only had thirty minutes left of the shift you were covering. You untie the black apron and fold it nicely in the back room. You scurry out and look for that back table that the nervous man was sitting at, easily finding him due to how much he stood out compared to everyone else in your mother's club.

   "Hey again!" You greeted, making him jump again.

   "Hello!" He smiled as you slid into the booth. "Well I guess I should give you my name. Oswald Cobblepot at your service!" He extended his pale hand.

   "The name is (Y/N)." You take his hand and began chatting with him

   Oswald was an interesting man to say the least, you found out he works for your mother but he doesn't know who you were. You found him cute in away, very nervous but a gentleman. He seemed very interested to hear about you and that honestly warms your heart.

   "I don't know if I told you, (Y/N), but-but you have gorgeous eyes." He smiled and tilted his head.

   "Thanks Oswald." You smiled and blushed, giggling a bit. You glance at your phone and notice how late it was. "Crap, I'm sorry, I didn't realize how late it was. I have a cat I need to go feed and college to go to. I'm really sorry."

   "No no! Don't apologize, I completely understand."

   "It's been fun, Oswald!" You shimmy out of the booth and collect your items.

   "Yes, it has! Wait, will I ever see you again?" He asked, leaning forward with wide eyes.

   "I have a feeling we will." You grinned and leaned over the table, planting a kiss too his cheek. You give a little wave before scurrying out of the club, leaving him cupping his cheek.

   Oswald sat speechless with a goofy, giggity grin on his face. Never had a girl kissed his cheek (other than his mother) before. He felt his chest swarm with warmth every time he thought of (Y/N)'s smile, her laugh or her lips on his cheek.

   "Don't get her hopes up, Penguin." Oswalds mood diminished and a scowl appeared on his face as Butch joined him.

   "Why Butch?" He asked with crossed arms. He expected him to say she wouldn't actually like him or she was just being nice.

   "Because that woman you were talking to," he paused, " is (Y/N) Mooney, Fish's adoptive daughter." Oswald choked on air while Butch laughed, leaving him alone once again.

   "Well this puts a damper on plans..." He mumbled to himself. His plans of overthrowing Fish that were slowly developing... might be at jeopardy with (Y/N) thrown in the mix. He shook his head when he heard is name being called from upstairs. He sighed and got up, but kept a hand clutched over his chest as he limped upstairs.
