Welcome to Shooting Star For You: A Bambam FicFest!

This is a project run by the @bambamnetwork to spread appreciation for Got7's Bambam as well as to create new content that is centred around our favourite Thai Rapper.

The Fic fest will take place on AO3 and here on tumblr.

Prompt Submission

Prompts are being taken on this google form. You can refill in the form as many times as you would like, if you have more than one prompt, just fill in the form again!

Prompt Claiming

Once prompt submission is closed, another form will come out, as well as a list of prompts where you’ll be able to choose which prompt/s you like. 

Fic Submission

After stories are completed, they need to be sent via email to [email protected]. They will be posted anonymously within a schedule and once all the works are posted, the authors will be revealed. Once everything is revealed, you will be able to post your fics elsewhere. There is a collection on AO3 that fics can be added too.

Prompt Submission Open: 9th Feb, Friday Prompt Claiming Open: 23rd Feb, Friday Check in Date: 23rd March, Friday - 25th March, Sunday Last Date To Drop Out: 26th March, Monday Fic Submission Date: 8th Apr, Sunday Posting: 10th Apr, Tuesday

Rules

Fics must be at least 1000 words

Fics cannot be posted elsewhere prior to the submission date. Please only post fics on reveal day.

You can claim as many prompts as you want, however you must finish your first claim before claiming another

If you’re unable to fill a prompt, you can drop it all the way up until the drop out period. Once you drop it, it’s free for someone else to claim.

Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Fics must be your own work.

Make sure appropriate warnings and ratings are given with your fic.

MERRY BAM’MAS! December has rolled around and Bambam Network is proud to present it’s first Christmas project. There are two parts to this project which is loosely based on GOT7′s Confession Song (고백송).

This project will end on 31st Dec 2017

Confession Song Game

Send the network your confessions to your Tumblr crushes (or actual crushes ;p) or send us your Christmas wishes to your friends or fav blogs. You can do it both on anonymous or not! All you have to do is include the phrase ‘Merry Bam’mas’ and we would tag them!

For example “MERRY BAM’MAS BAMBAM! I love the design for ‘doubleB’! Hope you have a nice day! <3″

General

Q. Who can participate? A. Anyone! Everyone is welcome to submit prompts, or even grab a prompt and write about it! This isn't limited to Bambamnet members, the project is open to everyone, ahgase or not, Bamstan or not, you're welcome to join. Q. How do I participate? A. There is a google forms here where you can submit prompts and there will be a google sheet here (this will be linked too when prompts are sorted) when all the prompts are accepted and sorted and put into it for people to claim. Once you've picked a prompt you have to write and fulfill that prompt before the submission date.

Submitting prompts

Q. Where can I submit prompts? Here 

Q. Can I submit more than one prompt? Yes, you can! We encourage it!

Q. Are the pairings only limited to Bambam? Yes. As this is a Bambam ficfest, all pairings are only limited to Bambam pairings.

Q. Are Bambam/Reader prompts accepted? Yes!

Q. If I submit a prompt, do I have to write a fic. A. Not necessarily, it is possible to submit a prompt and not claim one yourself, but if you submit a prompt it’s also nice to claim one so that people's prompts are less likely to be left out.

Claiming Prompts

Q. How do I claim a prompt? The prompt list can be found here (this will be linked when prompts are sorted). Fill in the google form with your details and claim your prompt by writing your url or username. An admin will contact you to confirm your claim

Q. Can I start writing for my prompt as soon as I’ve claimed it? Wait for the confirmation message from the admins. This is to ensure there is no overlapping of prompt claiming

Q. When is the last date for claiming prompts? Prompts can be claimed through out the project as long as the prompt isn’t taken. Bare in mind that the later you claim a prompt the less time you have to fill it.

Q. Can I change my prompt after claiming it? Please send us an ask on @bambamnetwork.  This will be considered according to availability of the prompt.

Checking In or Dropping Out

Q. What does the Check In Date mean? What do I need to do? During this period, you need to have a title for your work and word count of how far along you have written. All you need to do is drop us an ask on @bambamnetwork or email us at [email protected] which include the number of your prompt, with your work title and word count so far.

Q. Does the fic need to be completed during check in? No. It doesn’t.

Q. What does the Drop Out Date mean? If you find that you cannot fill in the prompt for whatever reason, this is your time to drop out. Dropping out will give a chance for other people to fill in your prompt.

Q. How do I drop out? Send us an ask at @bambamnetwork  or email us at [email protected] with the details.

Submitting Your Work

Q. How do I submit my story? A. Once you have completed your work, you need to send it to [email protected].

Q. Where do I post my work? A. You can post it on AO3 and add it to the ‘Shooting Star For You: Bambam Fic Fest’ collection BUT not until the authors have been revealed.

Q. Can I post my work on tumblr? A. You can after the author reveal, yes, but the network will already be posting them so it might just be easier to reblog.
