Requiem for a Tully
Dearly belovéd,
we are gathered here on the banks of the Trident, in the presence of the Seven, to say goodbye to one of ours.
He fell doing his duty, overcome by impossible odds, against powers much greater than him. His enemies will try to smear his character further, but his true memory will not be lost in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was not a great man, but he was a good man, devoted to his family, ready to do anything for us. He still had so much to do. May the Stranger greet him kindly.
Without further ado, let us bid farewell to the personality of Edmure Tully, victim of character assassination, butchered by HBO and its cronies D&D, turned into a whiny a$$hole and now even a traitor, while we book-readers mourn the loss of a clueless, good-natured, well-meaning young man.
*pushes boat, shoots flaming arrow*
Seven hells... who would have thought that a personality burned easier than a body?
