THREE PORTRAITS OF GORMEN
In June of 2012, I was lucky enough to meet three Gormen who were stranded in New York City after an accident. Unfortunately, due to the fact that they were unable to work legally in the United States, the Gormen were forced to live on the street. They faced great challenges due to their appearance, and their inferior command of the English language. In July, all three Gormen allowed me to take their photograph right before they attempted what they called “Operation Freedom.” I have since been unable to contact them and fear for the worst. I wish for nothing more than to simply share their story, and these three portraits.
