#gorjee art

I've noticed I have a particular interest in very well done, more adult-oriented takes on my favorite franchises growing up. I'm currently reading Infested - by @/flightyalrighty , and Heartache of Chaos - by @/gorjee-art , and they both are similar in that they're infection aus...or, yknow, aus in which some force takes over the minds and bodies of the characters involved. For lack of a better term. But, instead of sucking all the whimsy out of the source material, they retain that same feeling of something magical/adventurous, but it's more mature and well rounded. Does that make sense? Also, I'm not mentioning them directly but I'll put em in the tags below just as a soft nudge in their direction, I urge anyone following me to read their comics if you're interested in these macabre concepts represented by sonic/mlp/etc.
