Select the sequestered song that survives the skirmish:
So Many Things to be Thankful For - Gorgoth
Zombie Bytes - And the Zombie
So Many Things to be Thankful For:ăăćčŹăŽăĄăżăŤă
("Gratitude Metal") &
ăWhere else do you get black metal growling about things they're thankful for? It's a beautiful diversion of genre expectations. Decades after breaking up and disappearing, Gorgoth was finally reawakened to record this EP and perform this song for someone's backyard concert birthday party, featuring guest musicians, me and brother. I also happened to accidentally do their artwork.ă
Zombie Bytes:ăăThe song is a great song by a tiny band that sounds like it should be a classic but has very little listenership also I love this songă

Jorg: So. Who broke it?
(Everyone stares at broken coffee pot⌠that they got⌠somehow)
Jorg: Iâm not mad. I just want to know.
(Silence)
Makin: I did, I broke it-
Jorg: No, no you didnât. Rike?
Rike: Donât look at me. Look at Grummow.
Grummow: What? I didnât break it.
Rike: Huh. Thatâs weird. Howâd you even know it was broken?
Grummow: Because itâs sitting right in front of us, and itâs BROKEN!
Rike: ...Suspicious.
Grummow: No, itâs not-
Red Kent: If it matters, probably not, but Gorgoth was the last one to use it-
Gorgoth: Liar, I donât even drink that crap!
Red Kent: Oh really, then what were you doing at the coffee pot earlier?
Gorgoth: I use the wooden stirrers to practice channeling fire, everyone KNOWS that, Red Kent
Makin, peeved: Okay, letâs not fight, I broke it, let me pay for it, Jorg.
Jorg: NO. Who broke it?!
(Silence)
Grummow: Jorg? The Nubanâs been awfully quiet lately-
The Nuban: Really?!
Grummow: Yeah, really!
The Nuban: OH MY GOD-
(Chaos)
Jorg: ...I broke it. It burned my hand, so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now theyâll be ta each otherâs throats with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick.
(Glances back)
Jorg: Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

Round 1 Poll 15
Select the sequestered song that survives the skirmish:
Cheeseburger - Gorgoth
Magdalenita - RocĂo PrĂłspero
Cheeseburgerďźăă"This song hits deep. It expresses my truest emotions. When Executioner screams SATAN for the last time, I feel the tears swell up in my eyes. True beauty (and quite impressive how long he held that scream out for)." - Pvrker
The legendary Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Satan of the old high school/college black metal band Gorgoth that was school assembly hit, long thought to be lost as none of their many bands recorded their music. Throughout my childhood, it was like a personal folk song that I would chant but didn't know all the words too and would never hear in full, until Glenn Gorgoth (the lead member) recorded it on his own and put it on bandcamp on Halloween night.ă
MagdalenitaďźăăpurĂŠpecha woman singing an absolute banger. helps me chill. what more can i say. also im literally just here to promote listening to more indigenous mesoamerican songsă
