I love Deception Pass!! ❤️ the view from the bridge is gorgeous and it's thrilling to watch the water swirl around. The current is so strong that I've seen small boats get caught in them and just spin until the tide changes. The world's largest octopus lives in a cave deep down there, too!! It's a very exciting place to be!! The Deception Pass Bridge connects Whidbey Island with Fidalgo Island. You can see the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east. You can even see my favorite active volcano, Mount Baker. It's one of the most visited tourist spots in the country. It has been ever since Oprah Winfrey told the world how beautiful it is there on her show... it's really worth seeing.

Beautiful day in Strathaven. Sometimes, I can forget just how beautiful my wee bit of Scotland is. It's nice to be reminded, the sun being out for change definitely helped though too 😆
