Mount Baker, my favorite active volcano, as seen from Dugualla Bay... ❤️🌋❤️
Mount Baker
Back in 2015, I was getting my master's degree in California. I like CA and actually had a great academic experience with my MA, but I still missed the PNW enormously—I'd never lived outside Washington or Oregon in my life, and as someone who grew up less than 35 mi out of Vancouver, BC, even San Francisco felt very far from home. So I was thrilled to visit my parents that summer, and my mother and I ended up going on a brief vacation to see the Skagit River and the beloved volcano of my childhood, Mt. Baker. These are some of the many pictures I took on that trip!
