桃園市長鄭文燦親自頒發獎座給得獎店家，今年將金牌好店、金牌好禮、金牌好棧「桃園三金」以新品牌出發，透過統一行銷，同時推廣桃園優質餐廳、伴手禮及旅宿，提高品牌價值。而桃園是台灣的大門，國際旅客來台落腳的第一步就是桃園，桃園要讓國內及國際旅遊的遊客多停留、多消費，也透過桃園三金選拔活動，提高店家可見度、增加桃園觀光旅遊的友善度，成為旅客的最愛。
