i've always tried to treat people accordingly, but i will admit there have been times in the past where i've not fully been able to respect men especially. this is due to personal things that i went through went growing up. my dad passed away when i was young and i looked at it as him leaving me way too soon. i didn't have a good relationship with, let's call him my "step father" he wasn't a very nice man and he had no respect for people especially women and their children. this led to me growing up not fully being able to respect men as such. it's not an excuse, but i know that's where it stemmed from... after years of working on myself mentally and emotionally i've come to a point in my life where i've been able to let go of my past, especially in regards to men. i find myself attracting better things. i know a good man when i meet one. one with a good heart and dope soul. there are some men who are legends and they actually do deserve your respect. i just want to say thank you to the men who restore faith in women who have been around males that have disheartened them. people (especially women) are so quick to bash men and point out how bad they are… so many women moan about how all men are trash etc…
what you have to remember is when you attract a certain type of man it’s actually a reflection of something in you! now i’m not saying if a man is bad to you (or whatever the situation) that you deserve it, but we only go through what we allow to happen… (i’ve learnt this and now i only attract goodness and like minded people etc…)
let’s start appreciating the good men out there because they do exist! let’s start showing the good men some love.
