Question about cyber gothic AU: Are all the main villains still human or are a few of them AI?

In the AU I was thinking most of them would generally be human but the future has a lot of potentials, you know, and cyber-upgrades are a thing. For example - data chips that store memories to be replayed later on would probably be something a lot of them would have implanted [think of the benefits: if you get screwed over, you can remember who did it] and then you’d still have your enhancements like Venom [drugs would probably be more advanced in the AU as well, let’s be real], or things like alarms that indicate injuries or allow faster repairment of injuries. But I feel like most of them would be like, 90% human. Modifications included.
