The final year of High School, it was finally graduation day. Mandy was relieved and a bit sad, she didn't have that many friends but they were going to be missed. After the ceremony, all her classmates were on their way to prom but she decided to stay home and watch Harry Potter movies on the couch all night long. She was wearing her Peter Pan crop top and her most comfortable black sweatpants while eating pop corn. "This is the life!" - she said as she put more buttery pop corn in her mouth. Her parents were out of town because of work, so she had the entire house to herself. The household was near the beach, and the sound of the waves breaking reminded her of the surfing days, the burning sun and the soft sand. She was daydreaming hard, ignoring all of her surroundings, concentrated on the sea. Suddenly, she felt shivers down her spine and an eletric sensation through her body, making her gasp in surprise. Eyes open wide, she looked around astonished. She was at the beach. "What the fuck?!" - the blonde exclaimed, as she dropped the pop corn on the sand. It was the only thing that came out of her mouth. Perplexed, she felt the sand and walked in the sea water to make sure it was real. It was all fucking real. Mandy thought about her situation and began theorizing how the fuck she got there. The blonde sat on the sand and tried to relax like she did on the couch, she listened to the waves, tried to mimic the british accent spoken in the Harry Potter movie, but nothing worked. Then the idea struck on her mind, what if she thought about a familiar location? Mandy sat once again on the sand and tried thinking about her bedroom, the scent of her perfume, the sun light that bothered her every morning, her computer and all the memes she had shared on the internet and all the math homework she didn't do during the school year hidden in her closet. A familiar sensation went through her organism, like a lightning bolt striking. The green-eyed girl opened her eyes once again and cheered "Jesus! It really worked!" and began jumping on her bed. --- Some years had passed, Mandy had finally moved to the big city. Of course she had already visited previously thanks to her teleportation skills, however, this time was different. She rented a simple apartment in the neighborhood, it wasn't really the best but it didn't matter. The blonde didn't spend much time at home, she just needed a place to store her belongings. Due to the fact that she spent all day visiting different countries around the world (with the help of photos she kept on an album in her backpack) and all night at "work". After storing her things on her new "home", she couldn't stand a messy environment, Mandy looked at the time... 18:30. "Crap! I'm gonna be late!" Hurriedly, the woman pulled out her uniform, a black suit and mask. Shortly after getting dressed, while braiding her hair, the blonde received a phone call from Tyler. The man was a recent friend of hers, the both met each other under some dangerous situation involving the rising crime in the city. "What's up, pig?" "Hey, goldilocks!" "Hahah, very funny. 'Got a mission for me?" "Yeah, so pay attention or you're gonna get fucked!" Mandy got hold of a notebook and a pen while holding the cellphone with her shoulder. "I'm listening." "Alright! You've gotta get ahold of some information at 'SamsBlunt Inc.', they are under suspicion for some shady business... corruption and abuse of power. I'd recommend you get the proof and get the fuck out of there." "Okay... any pictures you can send me from the inside of the company? It'd make things a lot easier." - the blonde said as she prepared her trusty revolver, that weapon saved her a lot of trouble in the past. "You think I wouldn't have thought about that, bitch? Imma send some photos of the office inside the building." "You kiss your boyfriend with that mouth? Just kidding, thanks man!" "Hahahah! I do, with pleasure! Try not to get yourself killed!" "Craig is a lucky man! I'll be back before you can say "fuck" for the millionth time." Mandy hung up the call as she closed the apartment door. Adjusting the straps of the backpack on her shoulders, the woman focused her gaze on the photo Tyler had sent her, the feeling of a hundred volts surrounded her as she disappeared out of thin air to another location. Once again, the night met the vigilante green eyes of Gone Woman, the jumper between locations. Superhero AU - @just-a-fandom-mess
